He was born in San Angelo and had been a resident of Farmers Branch for 16 years. He was Presbyterian.

MARFA — Sadie L. Barlow, 80, of Marfa, an artist, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, in Las Cruces, N.M.

She was born in Ozark, Ark., and had been a resident of Marfa since 1959. She was Baptist.

MONAHANS — Concepcion Montoya, 91, of Austin, a homemaker, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at Ceton Hospital in Austin.

She was born in Fort Davis and moved to Austin from Imperial in 1974. She was Catholic.

FORT STOCKTON — Fred Prano, 67, of Fort Stockton, owner and operator of Prano Auto Service, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000, in San Angelo.

He was born in Detroit and was a resident of Fort Stockton for 21 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
