ODESSA — Thomas Earl Harrison Jr., 72, of Odessa died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Johann Neethling officiating. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday Highland United Methodist Church.
He was born Oct. 18, 1927, in Stamford. He married
Doris Mathis Dec. 21, 1949, in Abilene.
Thomas Earl Harrison Jr. was a physical education and history teacher for Ector County Independent School District for 30 years. He and his wife, Doris, were owners of Mary Moppets Day School. Thomas loved to play golf and 42 dominoes with his friends. He was an avid reader and loved Texas and western history. He was active in the Methodist Men’s Association and Jacob’s Ladder Reading Program at Gale Pond Elementary School. He is loved and remembered for his generosity and kindness, humor, wit and his devotion to his family and his church, Highland United Methodist. His wife Doris of 50 years loving said, "God surely has a precious angel with him in Heaven."
Survivors include his wife, Doris Harrison of Odessa; son, Thomas Lynn Harrison and wife, Cindy, of Odessa; daughter, Pamela Sue Harrison of Austin; brother, Joe Harrison and wife, Cherry, of Maui, Hawaii; five grandchildren; and sisters-in-laws, Brenda Carr and Darlene Hunsiker.

ODESSA — Miguel DeLaO Almanza, 77, of Odessa, a retired groundskeeper, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilberto Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Barstow. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lupe Almanza of Arlington; son, Jose "Joe" P. Almanza of Huntsville; daughters, Francis Martinez of Corpus Christi, Delia Nevarez of Fresno, Calif., and Sylvia Benavides of Arlington; stepdaughters, Socorro Cortez and Eva Carrasco, both of Odessa; brother, Antonio Almanza of Monahans and sister, Josefina Gonzales of Barstow; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — David Berzoza Jr., infant son of David and Ventura Silvas of Odessa, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, in Odessa.
Graveside services were Wednesday at Rose Hill Babyland cemetery with the Rev. Fidelo Lugo officiating. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Odessa.

ANDREWS — Walter Edward Brooks II, 80, of Odessa, retired employee of El Paso Products, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born in Mounds, Okla. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

VAN HORN — Ricardo R. Garcia, 49, of Van Horn, a construction worker, died Friday, April 7, 2000, in El Paso.
Mass was celebrated Monday, April 10, 2000, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Burial was at Van Horn cemetery. Arrangements were by Carrillo Funeral Directors.
He was born in Midland.

MARFA — John H. Harper, 80, of Van Horn, a retired rancher, died Sunday, April 9, 2000, in Van Horn.

He was born in Rio Frio. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Sarah Elaine Elder of Van Horn; sons, John C. Harper of The Woodlands, James S. Harper of Christoval and Joe R. Harper of Mertzon; brother, Ted Harper of Marfa; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON — Arcadio Gonzalez Ochoa, 75, of Fort Stockton, a retired siesmographic laborer, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in San Carlos, Chihuahua, Mexico, and had been a resident of Fort Stockton since 1969. He was Catholic.

ODESSA — Ronald Eugene Austin, 73, of Odessa died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.

Lottlie Lee Harvey
ODESSA — Lottlie Lee Harvey, 92, of Odessa died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at Avalon Nursing Home.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 31, at the Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Mark Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Hawley at 4 p.m.
She was born Aug. 20, 1907, in Hawley.
Mrs. Harvey came to Odessa in 1949. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her son, Morris Young and wife, Thelma of Odessa; sister, Madilene Herbert of Midland; niece, Patricia Sibley of Odessa; nephew, Kenneth Herbert of Midland; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Rafael P. Jimenez
ODESSA — Rafael P. Jimenez, 76, of Odessa, a retired oilfield worker, died Friday, Jan. 28.
Services are scheduled for Monday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Chavez officiating.
Interment will follow at Ector County cemetery.
A rosary will be said at 6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 30, at Martinez Funeral Home.
Some of his favorite activities were baseball, football and basketball.
His pallbearers will include Chris, Greg and Rene Jimenez; Marcus Garza; Danny Campos, Angel Abalos; Jonathon Campos and John Cris Moreno.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Jimenez of Odessa; daughter, Delia Garza and her husband, Robert of Grants N.M.; sons, Ralph Jimenez Jr. and wife, Gilda of Odessa, Robert Jimenez and wife, Lisa of Midland, Rudy Jimenez and wife, Rocio of Odessa, Rickey Jimenez of Austin and Ruben Jimenez of Odessa; daughters Diane Campos of Odessa, Delma Abalos and husband, Richard of Odessa, Debra Neitzel and husband, Norman of Odessa, Doreen Moreno and husband, Johnny of Austin; sisters, Margarita Nichols of Fresno, Calif., Flora Lara of Odessa and Trinida Trevino of Andrews; brothers, Fred Jimenez and Concepcion Jimenez both of Odessa and Alphonso Jimenez of Andrews; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
His father, Francisco Jimenez; mother, Maria Placentillo; brothers, Albert Jimenez and Albert Jimenez II and sister precede him in death.
