He was born in Sonora, and was a member of Mission Baptist Church.

TAOS, N.M. - Willie Epley Shortes, 87, of Taos, N.M., died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 1997.

She was born in Midland and lived in Odessa from 1936 to 1994 when she moved to New Braunfels. She had lived in Taos for the past nine months. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Odessa and the Republican Women Organization.

SEMINOLE - Eula Orlena Stewart, 97, homemaker and hat maker, of Seminole died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 1997, at Memorial Health Care Center.

She was born in Limestone County and was a Methodist. She had been a resident of Seminole since 1995.

He was born in Ballenger and had been a resident of Pecos for 47 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
