ODESSA — Pauline Lee Kruse, 93, of McGregor died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, in McGregor.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jo Gay officiating. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Gainesville. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Don Kruse of McGregor; daughters, Shirley Lightfoot of Houston and Beverly Scown of Midland; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

W.W. Pollard
ANDREWS — W.W. "Pete" Pollard, 92, of Seminole died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at Seminole Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at McNett Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerry Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Monahans. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Alvarado and moved to Seminole in 1995 from Grandfalls. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Geralene Harris of Andrews and Shirlene Kennor of El Paso; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Arthur Powell
ODESSA — Arthur Lee Powell, 58, of Odessa died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Jesse Barber Jr.
MIDLAND — Jesse Lee Barber, 82, of Midland, retired owner of Chaparral Claim Services, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, at a local nursing home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Don Womble officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Chapel. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Midland and was a lifelong resident. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jesse Lee Barber III of Hamilton and Carl E. Barber of Overland Park, Kan.; daughters, Barbara Funk of Midland, Kathy Womble of Burleson and Bonita Lakey of Midland; brothers, Harold Barber of Nevada City, Calif., and James Barber of Fort Worth; sister, Jo Brown of Odessa; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

R.V. Carey
MERKEL — R.V. "Bee" Carey, 90, of Abilene, a homemaker, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, in Abilene.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Griffith officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Starbuck Funeral Home.
She was born in Millsap. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jimmy Carey of Abilene; daughters, Elvee Brooks of Abilene, Margie Mount of Odessa and Shirley O’Dell of Amarillo; sisters, Elsie Booe of Seminole and Edith Noah of Merkel; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

William Hart
ODESSA — William Bruce Hart, 56, of Stanton died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Mount Evergreen cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Abbott officiating. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He has born in Pecos and had been a resident of Stanton since 1989. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jeffrey D. Hart of Del Rio; and daughter, Miera Janell of Bracketville.

Woodrow Holbert
CARROLLTON — Woodrow Holbert, 81, of Odessa, a retired teacher, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at Crane County Hospital.
Graveside services were held Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at Furneaux cemetery. Arrangements were by Richard W. Box Funeral Home.
He was born in Hebron. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Sisters, Marie Lord of Hebron, Anna Faye Mayes of Crane and Dorothy Mae Stubbs of Lakeside, Calif.

Danie Lebow
MIDLAND — Danie McCourtney Lebow, 74, of Midland, a retired petroleum landman, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at a local hospital.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Rech officiating. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Thayer, Mo., and had been a resident of Midland since 1955.
SURVIVRS: Son, Brian Lebow of Dallas; daughter, Elizabeth Maberry Absher of Arlington; sisters, Judy Leek of Odessa, Bonnie Brock of San Diego, Calif., Carolyn Tomlinson of Jonesboro, Ark., and Kathy Cody of Russellville, Ark.; stepmother, Geraldine McCourtney of Jonesboro, Ark.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Aura McClintock
SANTA ANNA — Aura Lena Blount McClintock, 93, of Georgetown, a homemaker, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at Park Place Care Center of Georgetown.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Northside Church of Christ with Raymond Jones and Donald Williams officiating. Burial will be at Santa Anna cemetery. Arrangements by Henderson Funeral home.
She was born in Hughes Springs. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Earlene Scott and Yvonne Walls, both of Georgetown, Joyce Leffingwell of Odessa and LaVelle Haynes of Temple; brother, Freddie Blount of Rising Star; foster brother, Ted Williams of Sundown; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Chon Ramos
ODESSA — Chon Ramos, 89, of Odessa, a retired cement finisher, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, at Seabury Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Margrete Ramos of Odessa; sons, Joel Ramos of Dallas, Rowland Ramos of Odessa and Chon Ramos of Lubbock; daughter, Abelina Velarde of Amarillo; sisters, Josefina Polanco of Monahans and Juliana Galindo of Kermit; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Emma Russell
MONAHANS — Emma Russell, 84, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, in Monahans.
Services were Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at St. John’s Catholic Church. Burial was at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements were by Harkey Funeral Home.
She was born in Toyah. She was Catholic.
