ODESSA — Carlos Ybarra Jr., 56, of Odessa died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2000, at Memorial Hospital & Medical Center in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Fred Davila officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Phoenix, Ariz. He was a member of the Assembly of God church.
SURVIVORS: Son, Oscar Ybarra of Odessa; daughter, Cynthia Villegas of Odessa; brother, Eliseo Ybarra of Lewisville; sisters, Mandy Henderson of Mineola, Justina Reyes of Sumter, S.C., Armida Parker of Palm Springs, Calif., Romana Patino of Midland and Gracie Thomas of Greenville and Libby Martinez and Jesusa Bonilla, both of Lewisville; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

ODESSA — Savannah Ruth Belcher, 78, of Odessa died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000, at Seabury Nursing Home.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

ODESSA — Maybell Mitchell, 63, of Odessa died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

ODESSA — Frances L. Rodgers, 70, of Odessa died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000, at Avalon Place.

Walter Armstrong
SLAPOUT, Okla. - Walter 'Jack' Thornton Armstrong, 93, of Odessa, a retired employee of Amoco Oil Co., died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Madison cemetery in Slapout, Okla. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born near Madison, Okla., and had been a resident of Odessa for 50 years.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Jean Clemons and Marjorie Bradley, both of Odessa; sister, Opal Nielsen of Odessa; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Audrey Harlos
PECOS - Audrey D. Harlos, 82, of Midland, a retired caregiver, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mt. Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Iola and had been a resident of Midland for eight years. She was Lutheran.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Vickie Brown of Midland and two grandchildren.

Ismael Lara
PECOS - Ismael M. Lara, 68, of Pecos, a retired employee of Pecos Valley Southern Railroad, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Mertzon. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Albina Lara of Pecos; daughters, Yolanda Rubio and Lucy Gonzales, both of Pecos; brother, Mike Lara of Pecos; sisters, Helen Tapia, Irene Licon and Lola Garcia, all Pecos, Sophia Devault of Atwater, Calif., Otelia Balles of Los Banos, Calif., and Margie Adams of Houston; and four grandchildren.

Rafael Lujan
DALLAS - Rafael Rodriquez Lujan, 79, of Dallas, a retired employee of TXI Co., died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at VA Medical Center in Dallas.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park. Arrangements by Laurel Land Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Juanita Hinojos Lujan of Dallas; daughters, Connie Chapa of Midland, Marie Sayers of Tucson, Ariz., and Dolores 'Dee' Hinojos of Dallas; sons, Rafael Lujan Jr. of Odessa, Israel Lujan of Highland Park and Ismael Lujan of Fort Worth; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Billie Lumpkin
ODESSA - Billie Merle Lumpkin, 67, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at Deerings Nursing Home.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Jim Fields officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born Pecos. She moved to Odessa from Denver City in 1970. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Archie Lumpkin of Odessa; sons, Archie Don Lumpkin of Odessa and Billy Jack Lumpkin of Kilgore; sisters, Winifred Blackwell and Mary Williams, both of Seagraves, Joann Barbie of Andrews, Dot Williams and Rita Werro, both of Pecos, and Shirley Henderson of Levelland.

Valerie Turner
ODESSA - Valerie Turner, 53, of Odessa, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.

Ruth Chewning
ODESSA — Ruth Chewning, 94, of Odessa died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at Deerings Nursing Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Robert Scofield officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Indian Territory, Okla., and was a resident of Odessa for 55 years.
SURVIVORS: Sister, Helen Booth of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.

O.D. Egger
SAN ANGELO — O.D. Egger, 95, of San Angelo died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, in San Angelo.
Services were 2 p.m. Saturday at the Stacy-Wilkins Chapel in San Angelo. Burial followed at Regency cemetery. Arrangements by Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home.
He was born in Regency and belonged to the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Son, Bobby Egger of Kermit; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
