ANDREWS Odessa Carter, 91, of Ozona, mother of state Rep. Bill G. Carter, R-Fort Worth, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, in Ozona.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at McNett Funeral Home with the Rev. H.A. Hanks officiating. Burial will be at Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in New Edinburg, Ark., and moved to Ozona in 1994 from Andrews. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Bill G. Carter, of Fort Worth; daughters, Jacque Carter Pedigo of Runaway Bay and Sandra Carter Bebee of Ozona; brother, Marcus A. Ward, of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Polly Hogate of Sacramento, Calif., and Georgia Holden of Cherry Valley, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA Emma Lee Clark, 58, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Carter Chapel Church with the Rev. Andrew Nance officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Mexia and had lived in Odessa for 42 years. She was Methodist.

He was born in Belton and moved to Odessa in 1963 from McCamey. He was Baptist.

NOCONA Paul Guinn Shelton, 75, of Nacona, a retired insurance agent, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls.

He was born in Nocona and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of the Church of Brethren.
