PECOS - Saturnino Gonzalez, 83, a maintenance worker, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997, in Odessa.
Rosary was said Friday at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel in Pecos. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Catherine Catholic Church with the Rev. Juan Narez officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Musquiz, Coahuila, Mexico, and was a lifelong resident of Pecos.
SURVIVORS: Rogelio Gonzalez, Oscar Nolberto Gonzalez, Mario Saturnino Gonzalez and Hector Gonzalo Gonzalez, all of Nueva Rosita, Mexico, Victor Manuel Gonzales of Piedras Negras, Mexico, Juan De Dios Gonzalez of Monahans, Enedino Gonzalez of Pecos, and Francisco Javier Gonzalez of Austin; daughters, Emilia Gonzalez of Nueva Rosita, Mexico, Felipa Gonzalez of Pecos and Thelma Fabiola Gonzalez and Narce Dalia Gonzalez, both of Austin; brothers, Serafin Gonzalez of Nueva Rosita, Mexico; sisters, Maria De La Rosa of Pecos and Florinda Bustamante of Nueva Rosita, Mexico; 43 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

MONAHANS - Marylyn 'Hunt' Thurman Lewis, 56, retired city administrator for the City of Grandfalls, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1997, at Ward Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Grandfalls Union Church. Burial will be in Tamarisk cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans.
She was born in Vernon and had lived in Midland for 16 years. She was a member of the Grandfalls Union Church.
SURVIVORS: Husband, David Lewis of Royalty; parents, Elmer and Lee Hunt of Royalty; son, Mike Cornelius of Monahans; brother, Larry Hunt of Grandfalls; sister, Jan Grizzle of Hagerman, N.M.; and three grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON - Cecil V. Patterson, 83, a ranching and oil production manager, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Fort Stockton with the Rev. Jeff Witcher officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was a lifetime resident of Fort Stockton and a Baptist.

She was born in El Mulato Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, and moved to Odessa three months ago from Presidio. She was a Catholic.

She was born in Nacogdoches and had lived in Roswell and Odessa before moving to Amarillo in 1995. She was a Baptist.

He was born Dec. 31, 1924, in Roosevelt County, N.M. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and had lived in Andrews since 1950. He was a Baptist.
