She was born in Mexico and had been a longtime resident of Presidio. She was Catholic.

KILGORE — Edwin Anthony Spoon, 88, of Kilgore, a retired oilfield worker and drilling consultant, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, in Longview.

ANDREWS — Morris "Whitie" Sullens, 66, of Andrews, a retired rig operator for DA&S Oil Well Service and Brownlee Oil Well Service, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.
