ANDREWS — Velma "Mac" Williams, 82, of Odessa, a registered nurse, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kevin Strempke and Eddie Marcum officiating. Burial will be at Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Spadra, Ark. She served as a registered nurse in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She and her husband owned Jay’s Grocery in Andrews from 1961 to 1977. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Becky Forbus of Odessa; sons, Martin J. Williams II of West Columbia and Michael L. Williams of Alpine; and three grandsons.

ODESSA — Pauline Wood Goodyear, 82, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital in Fort Stockton.

He was born in Merkel. He lived in Big Spring for 44 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Church of Christ.
