Leona Tatum

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Leona Marie Tatum, 84, a homemaker, died Tuesday, April 22, 1997, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Park Grove cemetery in Broken Arrow with the Rev. Kenneth Rager officiating. Arrangements by Kennard Funeral Services.

She was born in Sentinel, Okla., and was a resident of Tulsa, Okla. She was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Myron Tatum of Tulsa and Van Earl Tatum of California; daughter, Datha Fowler of Oklahoma City; brother, Jim Lawson of Stockton, Calif.; sisters, Pauline Hamlin of Clinton, Okla., Alpha Tatum of Odessa and Pat Lawson of California; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Wilbur Donowho

SHEFFIELD - Wilbur Walton 'Bill' Donowho, 84, a rancher and retired water well driller, died at Friday, April 25, 1997, at his residence.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Mother Holmes Baptist Church in Sheffield with the Rev. Jerry Fortune and Jerry Davenport officiating. Burial will be at Sheffield cemetery. Arrangements by Richard W. Box Funeral Home.

He was born in Hope, N.M., and was a resident of Sheffield. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Helen Donowho of Sheffield; sons, Pat Donowho of Sweetwater, Mike Donowho of El Paso, Jim Donowho of Sheffield and Joe Donowho of Youngsville, La.; daughter, Jean McMahon of Sheffield; brothers, Joe Donowho of Mount Pleasant and Dan Donowho of Dennison; sisters, Ruth Supulver of Weatherford and Opal Swin of Dennison; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Faustino Flores

ALPINE - Faustino Flores, 80, a retired railroad worker, died Friday, April 25, 1997, in Alpine.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mission Alpine Assembly of God with the Rev. Lupe Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be at Holy Angels cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.

He was born in Sierra Cohaula, Mexico, and was a resident of Alpine. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Juanita Flores of Alpine; son, Cayetano Flores of Alpine; daughter, Amailia Flores of Odessa; sister, Luz Gonzales of Seminole; and two grandchildren.

Alvin Harper

ROBERT LEE - Alvin G. Harper, 70, a retired Phillips Petroleum employee, died Wednesday, April 23, 1997, in Robert Lee.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Robert Lee Baptist Church. Burial will be at Paint Creek cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer Funeral Home.

He was born in Strong City, Okla., and was a resident of Goldsmith before moving to Robert Lee. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Harold Harper of Angelton and John Robert Harper of Tulia; daughters, Nancy Mattox of White River Junction, Vt., and Linda Sims of Palo Pinto; brother, J.R. 'Pete' Harper of Fort Summer, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Dennis Langdon, Sr.

PAPILLION, Neb. - Dennis M. Langdon, Sr., 48, died Wednesday, April 23, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion, Neb., with the Rev. E. Gordon Jorgensen officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest cemetery in Omaha, Neb. Arrangements by Kahler-Dolce Mortuary.

He was born in Omaha and was a resident of Odessa. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Langdon Jr. of Roswell, N.M., and Jonathan Langdon of Odessa; daughter, Amy Langdon of Papillion, Neb.; brothers, Kenneth Alter of Lynchburg, Va., Bill Langdon of Las Cruces, N.M., Robert Graham of Boca Raton, Fla., Michael Langdon of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; sisters, Mary Jo Bull of Clay Center, Kan., Betty Giese of Papillion, Neb., Christine Keck of West Plains, Mo., and Kathy Bradley of Interlachen, Fla.; and one grandchild.

Lloyd McCowen

ODESSA - Lloyd Mack McCowen, 78, a retired production foreman for Amoco, died Friday, April 25, 1997, at his residence.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with Paul M. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Memorial Park in Snyder. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Cross Plains and was a resident of Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Doris Marie McCowen of Odessa; daughters, Regina Alvarado of Odessa, Sherry McCowen of Midland, Larue Haney of McKinney, Loyce Thompson of Snyder and Shirlene Bratton of Victoria; brothers, Allon McCowen of Staton, Roy McCowen of Abilene, Glenn McCowen of Corpus Christi, Clint McCowen of Snyder and Don McCown of Midland; and four grandchildren.

Nancy Noelke

FORT STOCKTON - Nancy Moore Noelke, 84, a retired business owner, died Friday, April 25, 1997, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Kelly officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.

She was born in Pecos and was a resident of Fort Stockton.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Sally Jones Andrade of El Paso and Amanda Moore Krejei of Sterling City; brother, Joe E. Moore of Fort Stockton; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Leroy Thiesfeld

OAK HARBOR, Wash. - Leroy D. Thiesfeld, 72, died Monday, April 21, 1997, in Coupeville, Wash. Services were held Friday at Burley Funeral Chapel with Fred Renfroe officiating. Burial was at Maple Leaf cemetery in Oak Harbor, Wash. Arrangement were by Burley Funeral.

He was born in Glencoe, Minn., and was a resident of Whidbey Island, Wash. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Robert Thiesfeld of Odessa, Randy Thiesfeld of Lake Stevens, Wash., and Richard Thiesfeld of Coupeville, Wash.; daughters, Loann Gulick of Coupeville, Wash., Wanda Singleton of Jacksonville, Fla., and Linda McKennerney of Odessa; brothers, Dick Thiesfeld of Oregon, Glenn Thiesfeld, Leland Thiesfeld and Vernon Thiesfeld, both of Washington and Larry Thiesfeld of California; sisters, Elverta Lincoln of Alaska, Elaine Fousha, Irene Johnson and Carol Mattingly, all of Washington, Lila Geyer of California and Bernice Delacarre of Nevada; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Ima Turner

ODESSA - Ima Alyne Turner, 92, a retired beautician, died Wednesday, April 23, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Merkel and was a resident of Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Imogene Rittenhouse of Odessa; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Jacob Florez

ODESSA - Jacob Florez, infant son of Jacob and Amanda Florez, died Friday, April 25, 1997, at Odessa Regional Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

SURVIVORS: Father, Jacob Florez of Odessa; mother, Amanda Florez of Odessa; grandfathers, Ismeal Nunez and Samuel Florez, both of Odessa; grandmothers, Gloria Balderrama of Jal, N.M., and Joanna Renteria Florez of Denver, Colo.; and great-grandparents, Natalia Balderrama of Marfa and Jose Renteria and Clara Renteria of Big Spring.

Lawrence Harner

ODESSA - Lawrence 'Larry' Harner, 85, a retired expediter, died Friday, April 25, 1997, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Troy, Ohio, and was a resident of Odessa. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Mabel Harner of Odessa; son, Craig Harner of Odessa; daughters, Dale Davis and Sheri Haller, both of Odessa; brothers, Ken Harner of Dayton, Ohio, and Dick Harner of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and grandchildren.

Edna Harris

ODESSA - Edna Harris, 87, died Friday, April 25, 1997, at Avalon Nursing Center. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Dennis officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
