He was born in Odessa and was a former resident.

ODESSA — Ethel Irene Mueller, 69, of Odessa, a retired teacher, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2000, at her residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Frey officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home.
She was born in St. Louis and had been a resident of Odessa since 1965. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, William Mueller of Odessa; daughter, Teresa "Terry" McManigle of Rodbourene, England; sons, Kenneth J. Mueller of Fort Worth and Wayne S. Mueller of San Antonio; and two grandsons.
Scott Smith
ALPINE — Scott Owen Smith, 66, of Alpine, a retired employee of the Border Patrol, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at his residence.

He was born in Harlingen. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

McCAMEY — Maedell Boulter Beasley, 80, of McCamey, a retired dispatcher for the Upton County Sheriff’s Department, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at McCamey Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the McCamey Church of Christ with Saul Blair officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven cemetery. Arrangements by Richard W. Box Funeral Home.
She was born in Ranger and had been a resident of McCamey for 63 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

MARFA — Raymond Christopher Hegy, 96, of Marfa, a retired pilot, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000, in Fort Stockton.

He was born in Milwaukee, Wis., and had been a longtime resident of Marfa. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.

She was born in Marfa. She lived in Odessa for seven years after moving from Marfa. She was Catholic.
