He was born in Ojinaga, Mexico, and was a resident of Odessa.

STANTON - James Melvin Robinson, 83, a retired Forest Oil employee, died Thursday, April 24, 1997, in Odessa.

He was born in Energy, Texas, and was a resident of Stanton before moving to Odessa and then Breckenridge. He was a Presbyterian.

MARATHON - David M. 'Dave' Allen, 86, a retired heavy equipment operator, died Thursday, April 24, 1997, in Lubbock.

He was born in Richland Springs, Texas, and was a resident of Alpine. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
