She was born in College Station and was a resident of Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Robert L. Wesley of Odessa; stepson, Robert L. Wesley Jr., of Oakland, Calif.; stepdaughters, Ruby Givens of Midland and Margaret Wesley of Midland; six grandchildren; and 20 great- grandchildren.
Charles Wilbourn
LLANO - Charles J. Wilbourn, 76, a former electrician for Phillips Petroleum, died Monday, April 28, 1997, in Austin.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Waldrope-Hatfield- Hawthorne Chapel in Llano with Doug Aston and Clyde Freeman officiating. Burial will be at Tow cemetery in Tow. Arrangements by Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home.
He was born in Clinton, Okla., and was a resident of Odessa before moving to Tow. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maybelline Willbourn of Tow; sons, Dennis Wilbourn of San Antonio and Brent Wilbourn of Midland; sisters, Louise Raines of Tow and Bernice Carner and Pauline Wilbourn, both of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren.
Stella Boykin Turner
ODESSA - Stella Boykin Turner, 72, of Odessa died Tuesday, April 29, 1997, at her daughter's residence in League City, Texas.
She was born July 9, 1924, in Miles, Texas, to Marvin B. Boykin and Myrtle Pettitt Boykin.
Stella was retired from the Ector County Independent School District. She was a very active member of St. Lukes United Methodist church, member of the Odessa Auxiliary at Odessa Regional Hospital and Odessa Meals on Wheels.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 1997, at St. Lukes United Methodist Church with the Rev.
Kevin Strempke and Rev. Bob Shield officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Family requests that memorials may be given to Hospice of Galveston County, Inc., 1708 Amburn Road, Suite C, Texas City, Texas, 77591, or to St. Lukes United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Turner Jones and husband, Art of League City, Texas; sisters, Velma Eustis of San Angelo, Geneva Deshazo and husband, Duane of Odessa and Raye Hodges and husband, Tom, of San Angelo; and two grandchildren, Arthur and Crystal Jones, both of League City, Texas.
