He was born in Seminole and had been a resident of Seminole before moving to Huntsville. He was Baptist.

ANDREWS — Billy G. Roberts, 63, of Andrews, a retired hot oiler driver, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at Andrews Health Care Center in Andrews.

He was born in Abilene. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

ODESSA — Lindy Lee Brown, 12, of Odessa, a student at Nimitz Junior High, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at a local hospital.

SHEFFIELD — Walter L. "Dick" Collett, 75, of Iraan, retired owner of El Camino Restaurant, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at Iraan General Hospital.

He was born in Carlsbad and had been a resident of Iraan since 1989. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was born in Ojinaga, Mexico, and had been a resident of Presidio before moving to Midland in 1984. He was Catholic.

She was born in Centerpoint and moved from Lamesa to Seminole in 1951. She was Baptist.
