Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. E.R. Johnson officiating. Burial was at Pine Hill cemetery in Urania, La. Arrangements by Riser Funeral Homes.
She was born in Deville, La. She was Pentecostal.

ALPINE — Kenneth Leith III, 74, of Alpine, a retired race car driver, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at his residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Geeslin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Elm Grove cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Joplin, Mo., and had been a resident of Alpine since 1985. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

RANKIN — Polly Curry Ferguson Shearman, 92, of Wink, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at Winkler County Memorial Hospital in Kermit.

She was born in San Augustine County and had been a resident Wink since 1980. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

KERMIT — Roland E. Sweazy, 79, of Richardson, a retired oilfield welder, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at Landmark Nursing Home in Richardson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Belvue Baptist Church with the Rev. Emmett Upchurch officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Beecher City, Ill., and had been a resident of Kermit. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
