ANDREWS - Eulalia Rhoades, 53, a retired waitress, died Wednesday, May 7, 1997, in Andrews.

Services were held at 4 p.m. Friday at Primera Iglesia Bautista with the Rev. Glenn Godsey and the Rev. Gaberal Natividad officiating. Arrangments by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in Fort Stockton and was a resident of Andrews. She was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Earl W. Rhoades of Andrews; sons, Earl Eugene Rhoades of Waco, Paul Edward Rhoades and Daniel William Rhoades, both of Andrews, and Joselito Salinas and Jamie Salinas, both of Lamesa; mother, Cordada Jacquez of Andrews; brothers, John Jaquez and Catarino Jaquez Jr., both of Andrews; sisters, Sandy Hernandez and Lidia Subia, both of Andrews, and Mary Lozano of El Dorado; and four grandchildren.

Floyd Schellhorn

ODESSA - Floyd Carl Schellhorn, 89, a retired truck driver, died Thursday, May 8, 1997, at Deerings Nursing Home.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with Capt. Carl Hughs officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Lawrence, Kan., and was a resident of Odessa. He was a member of Odessa Faith Tabernacle Church.

SURVIVORS: Son, Jerald Schellhorn of North Carolina; daughters, Phyllis Holley, Hazel Hughes, both of Odessa, Virginia Hammond of Kaufman, Lurlyne Schmuck of Rainier, Ore.; brother, Richard L. Schellhorn of Lawrence, Kan.; sister, Margarete Woodcock of Amity, Ore.; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Travis Davidson

ODESSA - Travis James 'T.J.' Davidson, infant son of Phillip Davidson and Tiffany Alderidge, died Tuesday, May 13, 1997, at Odessa Regional Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

SURVIVORS: Father, Phillip Davidson of Odessa; mother, Tiffany Alderidge of Odessa; grandparents, Foster Alderidge, Daniel Nichols, Billie Nichols, Annette Davidson, Billy J. Davidson and Ruth Davidson, all of Odessa; great-grandparents, James Bulter, Barbara Watt, Jack Watt and Fred Alderidge, all of Odessa, Ann Shacklford of Midland, Travis Littlejohn and Glenda Littlejohn, both of Monahans and Billy James Davidson of Fort Worth; and great-great-grandparents, J.C. Williams of Odessa, Billy Joe Ottaberry and Edna Ottaberry, both of Monahans and Irene Aldridge of White Bluff, Tenn.

Joseph Meridyth Sr.

HOBBS, N.M. - Joseph Meridyth Sr., 75, owner of Joe's Wrecking in Eunice, N.M., died Saturday, May 10, 1997, in Lubbock.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today MST at Roxanna Street Church of Christ in Hobbs, N.M. with Albert Smith, Willis Evans, James Quarles officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Haven cemetery. Arrangements by Chapel of Hope.

He was born in Cameron, Texas, and was a resident of Hobbs, N.M. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II and a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Joseph 'Buba' Meridyth, Sr., Richard Meridyth and Ronnie Meridyth, all of Hobbs, N.M., James Meridyth, Michael Meridyth and David Meridyth, all of Odessa and Robert 'Bay' Meridyth of Midland; daughters, Lisa Meridyth, Carol Jo Abeyta and Dian Evans, all of Hobbs, N.M., Stacey Meridyth of Odessa; brother, Henry Lee Edwards of Bremond; sister, Lola Belle Beachum of Waco; 33 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Tomas Baeza

CHIHUAHUA, Mexico - Tomas P. Baeza, 87, a agricultural worker, died Tuesday, May 13, 1997, at Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Cementerio Del Puelbito in Chihuahua, Mexico. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Terlingua and was a resident of El Paso before moving to Odessa. He was a Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Alberto Baeza of Odessa and Luis Baeza of Bakersfield, Calif.; daughters, Flora Castaneda and Margarita Baeza Ruiz, both of Odessa, Rosa Vargas of El Paso, Maria Jesus Carrera and Graciela Juarez, both of Bakersfield, and Maria Socorro Ocegueda of Arvine, Calif.; sisters, Dominga B. Galindo of Carlsbad, N.M., and Esperanza Carrillo of Shafter, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Lucille Johnson

ODESSA - Lucille Johnson, 63, a homemaker, died Monday, May 12, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Tatum officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

She was born in Shreveport, La., and was a resident of Odessa for 48 years.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Jessie Johnson of Odessa; sons, Jesse Johnson Jr., of San Angelo, Wade Bradford, Billie Johnson and Curtis Johnson, all of Odessa and Roosevelt Johnson of Hope; brother, R.L. Kirkpatrick of Dallas; sister, Mae Ellen Kirkpatrick of Lafayette, La.; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Charline Bryson

ODESSA - Charline Wells Bryson, 79, died Thursday, May 15, 1997, at Memorial Southwest Hospital in Houston.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Dennison.

SURVIVORS: Son, Charles Hall of Kansas; and daughters, Carlene Smith of Missouri City and Leisa Price of Odessa.

Lois Collier

ODESSA - Lois Janice Collier, 71, a retired M Bank employee, died Friday, May 16, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Jim Humphries officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Bomartone and was a resident of Odessa. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, A.J. Collier of Odessa; daughters, Patricia Robinson of Midland and Kathy Bowden of Odessa; son, Danny Collier of Odessa; brother, Billy Dodd of Scottsdale, Ariz.; sister, Mary Helen Jenkins of Rochester and Bobbie Wells of Garland; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Loran Copeland

LUBBOCK - Loran Copeland, 91, a retired Norwood Drilling employee, died Thursday, May 15, 1997, in Lubbock.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Resthaven Chapel in Lubbock with the Rev. Wilburn Coffman officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Resthaven Funeral Home.

He was born in Saint Louis, Okla., and was a resident of Odessa before moving to Lubbock in 1973. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Irene Copeland of Lubbock; son, Bobby Copeland of Lubbock; daughter, Betty Busick Anthony of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Bert Greer

EARLY - Bert Greer, 78, a mechanic, died Tuesday, May 13, 1997, in San Antonio after a lengthy illness.

Services were held Friday at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early with the Rev. Lee R. 'Tut' Jones officiating. Burial will be at Zephyr cemetery. Arrangements by Heartland Funeral Home.

He was born in Mills County and was a resident of Brownwood before moving to Andrews. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Dorothy Greer of Andrews; daughters, Frances Longshore of Andrews and Barbara Slack of Yukon, Okla.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Jeff Hall

ODESSA - Jeff Hall, 37, died Thursday, May 15, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Lynn Money officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was a lifetime resident of Odessa and a member of Sherwood Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Son, Jeffrey Lee Allen Hall of Odessa; father, Bert Hall of Odessa; mother, Juanita Hall of Odessa; and brother, Allen Dale Hall of Odessa.

Laura Higginbotham

MONAHANS - Laura Ann Higginbotham, 21, a homemaker, died Wednesday, May 14, 1997, in West Memphis, Ark.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harkey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bob Porterfield officiating.

Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

She was a lifetime resident of Kermit.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Chris Higginbotham of Kermit and Bryan Higginbotham of Marion, Ark.; parents, Burl and Linda Higginbotham of Monahans; brother, John Bernard of Drumright, Okla; and sisters, Barbara Torres of San Antonio and Susan Fredrick of Monahans.
