Robert Charles Plumley
ODESSA — Robert Charles Plumley was born on April 20, 1923, in Ranger in Eastland County to Harold Edmond Montgomery Plumley and Maude Ella Ran Plumley. He passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. His parents, one sister and three brothers preceded him in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at the Sunset Memorial Chapel with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Plumley served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He married
Helen Wymer on Jan. 20, 1950, in Ranger. They came to Odessa in 1957. He worked for Engine Service and Supply for 38 years before his retirement. He was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.
Mr. Plumley enjoyed working with his hands. He was a skilled carpenter and was always remodeling their home. He was building a two-story home at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Plumley of Odessa; his son, Robert Charles Plumley II of Odessa; his daughters, Deborah Dyes of Glen Rose, Dianna Plumley and Lynn Plumley both of Odessa; and three grandchildren, Paul Dyes of Stephenville, Justin Dyes of Abilene and Rene Dyes of Glen Rose.
Services are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Jack Y. Walker
ODESSA — Jack Y. Walker, 69, of Odessa died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at his home. Jack was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Archer City to J.Y. and Orella Walker.
Mr. Walker was a resident of Odessa for 60 years. Jack was a graduate of Odessa High School and the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was an active insurance agent.
He was married
for 45 years to Ann Lawlis Walker. They were married
Aug. 6, 1955. Jack was an elder, choir member and trustee of the First Presbyterian Church. He was three-time president of the Odessa Optimist Club and an assistant scoutmaster. He was the head finish-line judge at the West Texas Relays for 30 years.
He served as president of the board of Odessa Meals on Wheels for three years and served them for more than 20 years. He also served 20 years at Life Underwriters and was a member of Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include his wife, Ann of Odessa; daughter, Mignon Mabry and her husband, Woody, of The Woodlands; son Clay Walker; and two grandchildren, Will Mabry and Ariana Walker.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at Resthaven cemetery in Brady.

Lois Jean Rogers
ODESSA — A memorial service for Lois Jean Rogers will be held at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Donnie Williams and Jim Cox officiating. Services are under the direction of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. A graveside service will also be held for Lois Jean Rogers at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at Resthaven cemetery in Lubbock.
Lois Rogers passed away Oct. 25, 2000. She was born May 9, 1923, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to George and Arvilla Pearce.
On June 15, 1955, she married
Henry Rogers in Denver, Colo. They moved to Odessa in April 1956 to open up a photo finishing business. She was a member of Friendship Chapter #1008 Order of the Eastern Star and past Worthy Matron. She was a 44-year member of the First United Methodist Church in Odessa.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathie Squyres and her husband Matt of Odessa, Barbara Mandry and her husband Tom of Lubbock and Eleanor Edmondson of Odessa; grandchildren include Lyndsey, Jordan and Jared Squyres of Odessa, Thomas Mandry and his wife Elizabeth and Amy Mandry Cox and her husband Jim of Lubbock, Robin Edmondson Weinrich and her husband Darryl of Piano; great-grandchildren, Michael and Regan Weinrich and Mattison Cox; and one sister, Donna Nichols of Montrose, Colo.
Lois was a kind, giving, caring woman who was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The family suggests memorials to the First United Methodist Church Youth Ministries.

Robert "Bob" Stone
ODESSA — Funeral services for Robert "Bob" Stone are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at Mission Dorado Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Bratcher officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Stone died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Jan. 26, 1927, in Olney. He married
Thelma Rhodes on Dec. 20, 1947, in Jacksboro.
Mr. Stone came to Odessa in 1952. He worked for Gulf Oil Company for ten years and retired from General Tire and Rubber Co. in 1987.
He was a member of Mission Dorado Baptist Church where he was the director of the Senior Adult Sunday School Department. He had been a Baptist Deacon since 1960.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Stone; two brothers, Bill Stone and wife Colene of Hobbs, N.M., and Fred Stone and wife Nancy of Midland; one sister, Margie Phinney and husband Glenn of Graham; and numerous special nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Mission Dorado Baptist Church Building Fund.

Mary Louise Graham
ODESSA — Mary Louise Graham, age 74, of Austin, formerly of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000.
She was born Sept. 15, 1926, in Lowell, Ore. During the Korean Conflict, Mary served in the U.S. Air Force. She had been employed with Southwestern Bell for 43 years and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Odessa.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert A. Graham of Austin; daughters, JoAnn Walker and husband Tom of Montgomery, Ala., and Julie Christian of Austin; son, Gary Graham and wife Cookie of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Jack and Kate Walker of Montgomery and Lee and Kay Graham of Scottsdale.
Memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Phillip McClarty officiating. A private burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Bobby Villareal
BIG SPRING — Bobby Villareal, 41, formerly of Big Spring, passed Wednesday Oct. 25, 2000, to a better life where he will be with the Lord Our God, as well as be reunited with his parents and brother as a family once again.
Bobby was born March 12, 1959, in Big Spring to Ycidro Villareal Sr. and Jovita Olague. He was born and raised in Big Spring until January 1997 when he moved to Odessa. He was known to many of his family and friends as "Big Bob" or "Boppers". He was well liked and loved by a lot of people, especially his family. He married
Viola Villa on Feb. 12, 1994, in Big Spring and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Crusillistas. Before becoming ill, he worked for Howard County Independent School District and Howard College in the food service department.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ycidro Villareal Sr. on Oct. 1, 1991; his mother, Jovita Villareal on Aug. 17, 1976; and brother Ycidro Villareal Jr. on May 7, 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Viola Villareal of Odessa; a sister, Guadalupe Villa of Odessa; a brother, David Joe Villareal of Big Spring; nieces and nephews, Ycidro and Isabel Villareal III and daughter Jossie, Sammy and Pilar Villareal and children Crystal and Sammy Jr., John and Cindy Villareal and children Justin and Andrea, all of Big Spring, Gilbert Villareal of Odessa, LiI.D. and Tiffany Villareal of Big Spring, Julian Villa, Josie Melendez and Carol Chavez, all of Odessa, and Tony Villa of Big Spring; uncles, Thomas Olague and Diego Olague, both of Big Spring; aunt, Paula Olague of Big Spring; and many cousins and friends.
Visitation with the family will begin today from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Odessa Funeral Home and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Big Spring with the Rev. Jerry McCarthy officiating. Burial to follow at Mount Olive cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ycidro Villareal III, Sammy Villareal, John Villareal, Gilbert Villareal, John Smithwick, Tom Olague Jr., Orlando Olague and Joe Pesina.

Lee Wayne Russ
MONAHANS — Lee Wayne Russ, 48, a resident of Monahans since 1979, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, in Monahans. He was born June 19, 1952, in El Paso. He was a deputy sheriff for Ward County.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Harkey Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at First Baptist Church with Father John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Russ and Benjamin Russ, both of Monahans; one daughter, Miranda Russ of Monahans; parents, Carl Russ, Josephine Russ Janeck and Joseph Janeck, all of El Paso; one brother, Jack Russ of El Paso; two sisters, Patricia Templeton-Fox and Connie Buchanan, both of Austin; and five nephews.

Jo Anne "Shanna" Donaldson
ODESSA — Jo Anne "Shanna" Donaldson, 69, passed away on Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, in Odessa. She was born Dec. 19, 1930, to Edward and Dora East in Coolidge. Her parents preceded her in death. Her husband, Arlen Donaldson, also preceded her in death.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at Sherwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Heiser officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Jo Anne came to Odessa in 1953 from Waco. She married
Arlen Wayne Donaldson on June 3, 1955, in Coolidge. She was an elementary school teacher and in the church choir. She loved to sing for the Lord and shared her talented voice with many over the years.
Jo Anne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and also enjoyed oil painting.
Survivors include her sons, Kyle Donaldson and wife, Dana, and Brant Donaldson; three grandchildren, Kristi, Justin and Kara Donaldson; cousins, Jerry and Jimmy Gore; and longtime friends, Leta and Jack Mathis, all of Odessa.
