Stella Jones

ODESSA - Stella Jones, 77, a homemaker, died Wednesday, May 14, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Robert Fletcher officiating.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Henryetta, Okla., and was a resident of Odessa. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Sandy Robinson of Odessa and Barbara Inman of Jackboro; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Thuoc Quang Dau

ODESSA - Thuoc Quang Dau, 49, a former apartment maintenance supervisor, died Saturday, May 17, 1997, at his residence.

Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis X. Frey and the Rev. Khanh Ho officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Ha Tinh, Vietnam and was a resident of Odessa. He was a Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Hien Thi Dau of Odessa; sons, Tuan Quang Dau and Dung Quang Dau, both of Odessa; brothers, Duc Quang Dau of Vietnam and Dong Quang Dau of Arlington; and sisters, Loan Thi Dau, Tri Thi Dau, Tam Thi Dau and Chin Thi Dau, all of Vietnam.

Trine Dominguez

PECOS - Trine Dominguez, 74, a homemaker, died Friday, May 16, 1997, in Reeves County Hospital.

Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Pecos with the Rev. Rick Zamorano officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

She was born in Toyah, Texas, and was a resident of Pecos. She was a Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Ruben Dominguez, Sr., of Pecos; sons, Ruben Dominguez, Abel Dominguez, Armando Dominguez and Victor Dominguez, all of Pecos; daughters, Norma D. Wentworth of Pecos, Petra Valdez of Big Spring, Arcelia Tarango of Dallas and Sandra Diaz of Anahiem, Calif.; brother, Manuel Marquez of California; sisters, Dominga Ybarra of Midland and Frances Marquez of Pecos; 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Dora Dorsett

ODESSA - Dora Dorsett, 93, a retired beautician, died Friday, May 9, 1997, at Avalon Place in Odessa.

Services will be held in Mexia at a later date. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born Mount Calm, Texas, and was a resident of Odessa. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Jo Anne Donaldson of Odessa; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Louie Hanson

MONAHANS - Louis Hanson, 81, an auto mechanic, died Friday, May 16, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Harkey Funeral Chapel in Monahans with the Rev. Leroy Henson officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

He was born in Hazel, Okla., and was a resident of Grandfalls. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Velma Hanson of Monahans; sons, Bobby Walker of Daphine, Ala., Steve Walker of Eunice, N.M., and Leland Walker of Monahans; daughters, Claudine Robinett of Denver City, Betty Sue Rowe of Canyon, Jo Ann Todd of Whitehouse and Gloria Sprouse of Monahans; 21 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Bob Lake

ODESSA - Bob Lake, 76, an ECISD employee, died Friday, May 16, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at a later date in Tucson, Ariz. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to Odessa from Tucson, Ariz., in 1961.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Kathryn Lake of Odessa; daughter, Gloria Cooper of Little Rock, Ark.; stepson, Michael Armstrong of Colorado Springs, Colo.; stepdaughter, Ginger Edwards of Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Thurman Wagnon

ODESSA - Thurman M. Wagnon, 74, a truck driver, died Friday, May 16, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at The First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Terry Pierce and Terry Roediger officiating. Burial will be at 5 p.m. in Loraine. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Oilton, Okla., and was a resident of Odessa. He was a member of the Nazarene Church.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Juanita Wagnon of Odessa; son, Thurman Wagnon, Jr., of Odessa; daughters, Sheila Kinsey of Mansfield and Sharon Daughtery of Byron, Okla.; brothers, Carl Medford Wagnon of Farmington, N.M., and Arnold Wagnon of Bremerton, Wash.; sister, Vera Thomas of Bloomfield, N.M.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Eduviges Ybarra

ALPINE - Eduviges Ybarra, 83, died Friday, May 16, 1997, in Odessa.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Alpine. Burial will be at Holy Angels cemetery.

Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.

She was born in Indio, Texas, and was a resident of Odessa. She was a Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Rudy Ybarra of Midland, Rene David Ybarra of Odessa and Ruben Ybarra of Big Lake; daughter, Aracela Ybarra of Alpine; sisters, Maria Contreras of Yuma, Ariz., Antonia Fuentez of Marfa and Jesusita Ornelas of Presidio; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Michael Andrews

ODESSA - Michael Trey Andrews, 29, a television camera man for Channel 28 in Lubbock, died Saturday, May 17, 1997, at his residence.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Storz officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Odessa and was a resident of Lubbock. He was a Protestant.

SURVIVORS: Son, Ryan Michael Andrews of Odessa; father, Harvey Andrews, Sr., of Odessa; mother, Jeanene Lee of Bronte; grandparents, Tyra Hamilton and Myrtle Hamilton, both of Lubbock; brother, Harvey Andrews, Jr., of Odessa; and sister, Kathy Crispin of Alamogordo, N.M.

Lorraine Champion

ANDERSONVILLE, S.C. - Lorraine Champion, 74, died Saturday, May 17, 1997, in Lithonia, Ga. Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. CST, today at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Snellville, Ga., with the Rev. Dr. Robert D. Strachan officiating. Private burial will be at Andersonville National cemetery in Andersonville, S.C. Arrangements by Tom M Wages Funeral Service.

She was a native of San Francisco and a resident of Lithonia, Ga.

SURVIVORS: Husband, John C. Champion, Jr., of Lithonia, Ga.; sons, Wayne D. Champion of Snellville, Ga., and Steven Champion of Stateboro, Ga.; daughter, Pamela Price of Odessa; brother, Ronald D. Weber of San Francisco; and four grandchildren.

Bobby Couch

COMANCHE - Bobby Warren Couch, 67, a retired jeweler, died Saturday, May 17, 1997, at his residence.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. today in the Hall & Sons Chapel in Comanche. Burial will be at Evergreen cemetery in Gustine, Texas. Arrangements by Hall & Sons Funeral Home.

He was a born in Gustine and a resident of Odessa before returning to Gustine. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a Methodist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Billie Couch of Gustine; son, Curtis W. Couch of Odessa; daughters, Quatia D. Wright of Odessa and Debra N. Noel of Rogers, Ark.; brothers, T.J. Couch and Ernest W. Couch, both of Gustine; sister, Ione Denson of San Antonio; and four grandchildren.
