ODESSA — Nina Robbins Eaves, 85, of Odessa, a retired employee for the state of Texas, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Terry Wright officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Woodville, Okla. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Fern Stark and Illa Fitzgerald, both of Odessa; sister, Ethel Upchurch of Weatherford; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Ava Lewis

RED OAK — Ava Lee Lewis, 86, of Red Oak, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, in Red Oak.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Red Oak Funeral Home Chapel with C.J. Josey officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Mount Pisgah cemetery in Pine Mills. Arrangements by Red Oak Funeral Home.

She was born in Crosstimbers.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Billy Lewis of New York City and Bobby Lewis of Gardendale; daughters, Frances Sweatt of Red Oak, Ava Stallings and Sonjia Metzger, both of Shady Grove; sister, Agnes Witt of Longview; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Serenity Lund-Sanchez

ODESSA — Serenity Jewel Lund-Sanchez, 3 months, of Odessa died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, in Pecos.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Rex Clayton officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Mother, Melissa Lund of Odessa; father, James Sanchez of Pecos; brothers, Richard Sanchez of Pecos and Ashton Clary of Odessa; sister, Aubrie Lund of Odessa; grandparents, Lynn and Steve Overton of Odessa, Manuel and Mary Alice Benavidez of Houston and Kevin and Judy Lund of Kaycee, Wyo.; and great-grandmother, Stella Brock of Kaycee.

E.L. Topper

ODESSA — E.L. Topper Jr., 77, of Odessa, retired owner of Topper Sheet Metal Co., died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at a local hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Revs. Ernest Topper III and Don Forrester officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Wichita Falls and moved to Odessa in 1946. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Opal Topper of Odessa; son, Ernest Topper III of Johnson City; daughters, Treva Forrester of Midland and Janetta Kleier of Castle Rock, Colo.; brothers, George Topper of Garland and Byron Topper of Wichita Falls; sister, Peggy Lyle of Vernon; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Van Willson

DENVER CITY — Van Calvin Willson, 77, of Denver City, a retired employee of Santa Fe Railway, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, in Seminole.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Church of Christ with Skip Rodgers officiating. Burial was at Denver City Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ratliff Funeral Home.

He was born in Elkins. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Irene Willson of Denver City; Lee Otis "Sonny" Wyatt of Garland; daughters, Sue Ann Harrison and Judy Tinley, both of Denver City; brother, Howard Willson of San Angelo; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

J.D. Kilgore

ODESSA — J.D. Kilgore, 95, of Midland died Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at Odessa Hospice House.

Services are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

MARFA — Ramon Ornelas, 58, of Marfa died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, in Marfa.

ODESSA — Debra White, 44, of Odessa died Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.

Ruth Guffey

ODESSA — Ruth L. Guffey, 83, of Odessa, a retired office manager, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, in Midland.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Heights Christian Church. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Center and moved to Odessa in 1946. She was Episcopalian.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Kathie Smith of Odessa; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Seberiano Olivas

PECOS — Seberiano Olivas, 93, of Barstow, a retired laborer, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at Pecos Nursing Home.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Alcuino officiating. Burial will be at Barstow cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

He was born in Paloma, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Son, Raymond Ferralez of Phoenix; brother, Jesus Quiroz of Odessa; sister, Pretonila Palomino of Barstow; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Eula Davis

MIDLAND — Eula Beatrice Davis, 86, of Coleman died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, in Midland.

ODESSA — Fred M. Segal, 89, of Odessa died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, in Odessa.

Mariam Grizzell

FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. — Mariam Catherine "Scottie" Grizzell, 60, of Fredericktown, Mo., an inspector for Texas Instruments, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at Claru Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Follis and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Gene Proffer officiating. Burial will be at Marcus Memorial Park. Arrangements by Follis and Sons Funeral Home.

She was born in Los Angeles and had been a resident of Odessa. She was Protestant.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Amanda Grizzell of Fredericktown and Cheryl Richardson; sister, Thelma Proffer of Frederickstown; and two grandchildren.
