Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Revs. Arturo Pestin and Ernie Sanchez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph cemetery. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home.
He was born in Alice and was a longtime resident of Stanton. He was Catholic.

BALMORHEA — Charles "Buck" W. Towler Jr., 80, of Balmorhea, a retired meter man for Trans Pecos Gas Co., died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born in Ballinger and was a lifelong resident of Balmorhea. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
