ROBERT LEE — Nora Belle Leverington, 72, of Robert Lee, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, at her residence.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Robert Lee Baptist Church with the Revs. James Patrick Leverington and Waide Messer officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. today at Crane County cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer Funeral Home.

She was born in Seven Rivers, N.M. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Leonard Leverington of Robert Lee; sons, James P. Leverington of Titusville, Fla., and Michael Leverington of Odessa; daughter, Patricia Leek of Hawk Point, Mo.; brothers, Joe Sims of Eunice, N.M., and Claude Sims of Carlsbad, N.M.; sister, Mary Able of Lordsburg, N.M.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

John Masey

ODESSA — John Thomas Masey, 87, of Midland, a retired heavy equipment operator, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2000, at Trinity Haven Healthcare in Midland.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Don Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

He was born in San Saba and had lived in Odessa since 1945 before moving to Midland. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Frankie Masey of Midland; daughters, Fayla Ward of Midland and Shirley Kleypas of Kerrville; son, Harold Masey of Odessa; brother, James Masey of Odessa; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Donald Prescott

BIG SPRING — Donald Ray Prescott, 50, of Big Spring, an oilfield worker, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Claude Craven officiating. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home.

He was born in Hobbs, N.M., and was a lifelong resident of Howard County. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Son, LeRoy Prescott of Casa Grande, Ariz.; and sisters, Glenda Randolph of Odessa and Nona Lee Henderson of Midland.

Bibiana Tarango

MARFA — Bibiana Tarango, 98, of Midland, a homemaker, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2000, at a Midland nursing home.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Merced cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.

She was born in San Antonio, Chihuahua, Mexico, and moved to Midland in 1985 from Marfa. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Sister, Agustina Barragan of Valentine; and six grandchildren.

Goldie Wilson

ODESSA — Goldie Lee Wilson, 89, of Weatherford, a retired construction worker, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2000, at a Weatherford nursing home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Cotten-Bratton Funeral Directors.

He was born in Weatherford.

SURVIVOR: Sister, Pauline Newsome of Colorado.

Donnie Akin

BIG LAKE — Donnie M. Akin, 79, of Big Lake died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, in a local hospital.

Services are pending with Johnson’s Funeral Home in San Angelo.

Guadalupe Hernandez

MIDLAND — Guadalupe Montoya Hernandez, 80, of Midland died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at her residence.

Services are pending with Ellis Funeral Home.

Nancy Holdridge

ODESSA — Nancy F. Holdridge, 90, of Odessa died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

John Holloway

MIDLAND — John Holloway, 52, of Odessa died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.

Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Peter Redecop

SEMINOLE — Peter Redecop of Summer, an infant, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at Children’s Hospital in Dallas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Reinlander Mennonite Church with Henry Reimer officiating. Burial will follow at Babyland of Gaines County cemetery South. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.

He was born in Greenville.

SURVIVORS: Parents, Peter and Katherina Redecop of Summer; sisters, Helen Redecop and Maria Redecop, both of Summer; grandparents, Franz and Maria Braun of Mexico and Helen Redecop of Paris, Texas; and great-grandparents, Deidrick and Katherina Braun of Mexico.

Robert Teetor

FORT STOCKTON — Robert R. Teetor, 67, of Fort Stockton, a retired route salesman for Decoty Coffee Co., died Thursday, April 5, 2001, in Fort Stockton.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall with the Rev. Jim Miles officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.

He was born in Lexington, Neb., and was a resident of Fort Stockton since 1961. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was Presbyterian.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Grace Ann Teetor of Fort Stockton; son, James Neil Teetor of San Antonio; daughter, Valerie Ann Teetor Waters of Fort Stockton; brothers, Warren Teetor of Zephyrhills, Fla., Mark Teetor of Dallas, Vernon Teetor of Akron, Ohio, Glen Teetor of Oklahoma City, Ronald Teetor of Herber Springs, Ark., and Wayne Teetor of Point Pleasant, W. Va.; sisters, Evelyn Hultman of North Platte, Neb., Beulah Nanney of Farmville, N.C., and Patsy Halouska of Cozad, Neb.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Emiliana Vasquez

FORT STOCKTON — Emiliana D. Vasquez, 96, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Odessa Regional Hospital.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Chavez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today and Sunday at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

She was born in Fort Stockton. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Maria Lezama of Odessa; sister, Candida Duran of Fort Stockton; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
