CRANE — Eddie Ray Sanchez, 37, of Crane died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at his residence.

Services are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

Ronald Van Dyke

ODESSA — Ronald John Van Dyke, 60, of Odessa died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Hospice House.

Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Hazel Adkins

PECOS — Hazel Adkins, 87, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at a Pecos nursing home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mount Evergreen cemetery with the Rev. Greer Willis officiating. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

She was born in Blooming Grove and had been a resident of Pecos since 1946. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Clifford Adkins of Fort Stockton and Jack Adkins of Presidio; daughters, Martha Cherry of Carlsbad, N.M., and Sandra Hartman of Carlsbad, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pete Alvarado

MONAHANS — Pete T. Alvarado, 74, of Monahans, a retired transport driver, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at Harkey Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

He was born in Fort Davis. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Nina Alvarado of Monahans; daughter, Dora Carrasco of Monahans; brothers, Fidel Silvas of Monahans and Eddie Silvas of Midland; sisters, Gloria Bustamante, Delores Najar and Leonor Rodriguez, all of Monahans, and Patsy Rodriguez of Fort Davis; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Fred Davila

CROSBYTON — Fred Davila, 41, of Crosbyton, pastor of El Calvario Baptist Mission in Crosbyton, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at Crosbyton Hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Revs. Mathew Rendon and Les Griffin officiating. Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. today at El Calvario Baptist Mission. Burial will be at the Crosbyton cemetery. Arrangements by Adams Funeral Home.

He was born in Sinton and had been a longtime resident of Odessa before moving to Crosbyton. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Rita Davila of Crosbyton; son, Fred David Davila of Crosbyton; mother, Olivia Davila of Crosbyton; brother, Audon Gutierrez of Austin; and sisters, Odie Navarro of Crosbyton and Gloria Rendon of Corpus Christi.

Ray De Leon Sr.

MIDLAND — Ray De Leon Sr., 59, of Midland, owner of Ray’s House Moving and Salvage in Midland, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Reyes-Garcia Chapel with the Rev. Ty Morris Jr. officiating. Arrangements by Reyes-Garcia Funeral Home.

He was born in Midland.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Teresa De Leon of Midland; sons, Ray De Leon Jr. of Allen, Roy De Leon of Southlake, Rory De Leon and Ysidro Rodriguez, both of Midland, and Gustavo De Leon of Las Vegas; daughters, Teresa Caballero and Ray Lynn De Leon, both of Midland, and Delia Garcia of Odessa; four brothers; six sisters; and 19 grandchildren.

ODESSA — Larry Dughman Dyer, 38, of Tyler, an employee of Compressor Components in Tyler, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Russ Hale officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Omaha, Neb.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Kim Dughman of Tyler; son, Trent Dughman of Tyler; daughters, Tasha Dughman and Brittney Dughman, both of Tyler; parents, Sharon and David Dyer of Odessa; brother, Shane Dyer of Amarillo; and sister, Lisa Vincent of Katy.

Elmo Kitchens

ODESSA — Elmo Jean Kitchens, 73, of Odessa, a retired employee of Santa Fe Drilling Co., died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bruce Troy officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Gatesville and moved to Odessa in 1954 from Kermit. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Helen Kitchens of Odessa; son, Robert Kitchens of Corinth; daughter, Regenia Brazeal of Odessa; brother, O.D. Kitchens of Brownwood; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Dorothy Milburn

ODESSA — Dorothy Jeanne Milburn, 76, of Odessa, a retired secretary for Duffy McKeel Insurance Co., died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Trout officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Rule and moved to Odessa in 1942. She was Methodist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, C.V. Milburn of Odessa; daughter, Linda Meier of San Angelo; brother, Bill Cooper of Odessa; a grandson; and a great-grandson.

Christina Natividad

PECOS — Christina Reyes Natividad, 26, of Pecos died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, in Germany.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Alcuino officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

She was born in Pecos and was a lifelong resident. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Anthony Natividad of Germany; son, Anthony Ray Natividad Jr. of Germany; daughter, Kayla D. Natividad of Germany; stepdaughter, Lindsey Natividad of Pecos; parents, Steve and Susan Reyes of Pecos; brothers, Steve Reyes Jr. and Chris Reyes, both of Pecos; grandparents, Jose and Aurora Reyes and Frances Esparaza, all of Pecos; and great-grandparents, Aurelio and Manuela Acosta of Pecos.

Wade Tellinghuisen

MIDLAND — Wade Travis Tellinghuisen, 25, of Fort Stockton, district executive for the Concho Valley Council of Boy Scouts of America, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at his residence.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Midland with the Rev. Jan Reed officiating and at 4 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Stockton with the Revs. James R. Miles and Frank K. Baker officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.

He was born in Austin.

SURVIVORS: Parents, Craig and Mary Tellinghuisen of Midland; grandfather, H.L. Hillin Jr. of Wharton; and grandmother, Mary W. Tellinghuisen of Nashville, Tenn.

Vernon Wallace

BALLINGER — Vernon Louis Wallace, 77, of Paint Rock, a rancher, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo.

Services were at 3 p.m. Thursday at Rains-Seale Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Swindler officiating. Burial was at Concho cemetery in Concho. Arrangements by Rains-Seale Funeral Home.

He was born in Olfen. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Vera Wallace of Odessa; daughters, Joyce Ritchey of Dryden and Carol Hill of Odessa; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Maria S. Larrea, 47, of Odessa died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at her residence.

BLACKWELL — Henry L. Fesperman, 78, of Blackwell, a retired truck driver for J.H. Rose Trucking Co., died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2000, at his residence.

He was born in Lott. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Betty Fesperman of Blackwell; daughters, Susie Phillips of San Angelo and Linda Odom of Bastrop; son, Cecil Fesperman of San Angelo; sisters, Helen Clark of San Angelo, Grace Bridges and Faye Riley, both of Odessa, and Jimmie Ruth Brown of Pevely, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
