Jewell ‘Judy’ Price
ODESSA — Her given name was Jewell, but to most of Odessa, she was Judy. She and Daddy moved here from Oklahoma in 1950. Their days started at 4 a.m. Daddy headed for the oil patch and mother off to the office, raising two sons and a daughter with no complaints. I think at one time or another, mother handled the insurance for most of the businesses in town. Her trademark was a smile and a laugh that could brighten anyone’s darkest day. She loved Odessa, and she loved its people. In her own way, she helped to build this town. Along the way, she lost a mother, a father, several brothers and sisters, a husband and a son. She knew the pain that life can bring, but she never lost her smile. Rest in peace my dear, dear mother!
In loving memory from the few left that loved you the most.
David, Peggy and Lisa.
Our hearts go with you, and our souls wait to join you.
