MIDLAND — Ninfa Ybarra Villarreal, 70, of Midland, a homemaker, died Thursday, March 22, 2001, at a Midland health care center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Templo Jerusalem with the Rev. Manuel Hernandez officiating. Burial will be at Fairview cemetery. Arrangements by Reyes-Garcia Funeral Home.

She was born in Marion and was a longtime resident of Midland.

SURVIVORS: Sons, John Villarreal, George Villarreal and Sammy Villarreal, all of Midland; daughters, Anita Villarreal, Santa Villarreal, Sylvia Villarreal and Judy Lara, all of Midland; sisters, Anita Rodriguez and Juanita Zamora, both of Seguin; 21 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Ladell Ellis

ODESSA — Ladell "Slim" Ellis, 84, of Odessa died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Ronald Tuck

ODESSA — Ronald Ray Tuck, 49, of Odessa died Friday, March 23, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Florence Bigbie

DENVER CITY — Florence Evelyn Bigbie, 96, of Denver City, a retired employee of Collin’s Department Store, died Monday, July 10, 2000, at her residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Fred officiating. Burial will follow at the Denver City Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ratliff Funeral Home.

She was born in Birmingham, Ala. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Claude R. Bigbie of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Harold Bigbie of Silver City, N.M., and Don Bigbie of Highland Village; daughter, Evelyn Mallard of Denver City; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Iris Botello

ODESSA — Iris Nicole Botello, 8, of Odessa died Saturday, July 8, 2000, in San Angelo.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

She was born in Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Father, Jose Botello of Odessa; mother, Erlinda Baiza of Odessa; brothers, Hector Moya Jr. and Trinidad Baiza Moya, both of Odessa; grandparents, Lois Nabarrete, Moises Flores, Guadalupe Flores and Frances and Jose Botello, all of Odessa; great-grandparents, Sabas and Maria Nabarrete of Odessa and Julian and Josephina Baiza of Fort Stockton.

James Gilliland

ODESSA — James Gilliland, 75, of Odessa, an oil field worker, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Ontonta, Ala., and moved to Odessa in 1960.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Steve J. Gilliland of Odessa and David Bernal; and daughters, Vickie McKay and Sheila Douglas.

Severo Navarro

MARFA — Severo Navarro, 88, of Marfa, a retired diesel mechanic, died Friday, June 30, 2000, in Olney, Md.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Graveside services will be at Merced cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.

He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, and was a longtime resident of Marfa. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Son, Luis Navarro of Silver Springs, Md.; sisters, Paula Urista, Olivia Gamboa and Josefina Torres, all of El Paso, Manuela Dominguez of California and Refugia Dominguez of Las Cruces, N.M.; brothers, Ricardo Navarro, Pedro Navarro, Epolito Navarro and Juan Navarro, all of El Paso; and one grandchild.

Mattie Pelham

HENDERSON COUNTY — Mattie Pelham, 91, of Athens, a homemaker, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at a local nursing home.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Payne cemetery with the Rev. Horace Cobb officiating.

Arrangements by Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.

She was born in Henderson County and lived there all of her life. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, Roy Strange of Malakoff; brother, Grady Cobb of Stephenville; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Sedahlia Smith

LAMESA — Sedahlia Smith, 93, of Lamesa, a retired caretaker, died Monday, July 10, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lamesa Church of Christ with Calvin Smith officiating.

Burial will be at Lamesa Memorial Park. Arrangements by Branon Funeral Home in Lamesa.

She was born in Marshall and had been a resident of Lamesa since 1952. She worked as a caretaker.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Sons, David Lee Smith of Lamesa and Willard Smith of Sacramento, Calif.; daughters, Dorothy Conaway of Lamesa, Magnolia Terry of Roswell, N.M., Elma Jean Brown of Andrews, Archie Mae Brown of Lubbock and Reva Edwards of Houston; 36 grandchildren; and 58 great-grandchildren.

William Hutchison

MIDLAND — William Henry Hutchison, 56, of Bushton, Kansas, a truck driver, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at Central Kansas Medical Center in Great Bend, Kansas.

Graveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Eric Seay officiating. Arrangements by Parsons Funeral Home.

He was born in Fort Stockton. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Kathleen Ellen Hutchison of Bushton; son, William Joseph Bauer of Olathe, Kansas; mother, Hazel Cook of Goldsboro, N.C.; sisters, Deloris Thompson of Atlanta; and Bonnie Sue Gupton of Goldsboro; brother, Richard Hutchison of Fort Worth; and a grandson.

Wallace Nations

MONAHANS — Wallace Lee Nations, 81, of Monahans, a retired groundskeeper for Children’s Home, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at Monahans Managed Care Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Harkey Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

He was born in Monahans. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, James McCoy and Terry Green, both of Fort Worth; daughter, Ida Dary of Fort Worth; and three grandchildren.

Steven Perry

EUNICE, N.M. — Steven Glenn Perry, 58, of Odessa, an employee of Patterson Drilling Co., died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, in New Mexico.

No services are scheduled.

He was born in Shelbyville, Ill. He was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Stepdaughters, Cathy Steadham of Odessa and Kim Hernandez of San Antonio; stepson, Jamie Burns of Odessa; sister, Judy Montani of Nash; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

Francisca Venegas

McCAMEY — Francisca Venegas, 94, of McCamey died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at McCamey Hospital.

Arrangements are pending with Richard W. Box Funeral Home.
