Charles Kenneth Mason
ODESSA — Services for Charles Kenneth Mason, 70, of Odessa are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Steve Trout officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Mason died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at his residence. He was born Nov. 18, 1930, in Big Spring.
Mr. Mason was a graduate of Odessa High School and attended Odessa College. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Garland. He moved to Garland from Odessa in 1963. He retired from Texas Instruments in 1991 after more than 25 years of service. He moved back to Odessa in 1998. He was loved by many friends and family and will be deeply missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his father, W.F. Mason.
Survivors include his daughter, Roni Sturdivant and husband Gerald of Lubbock; mother, Grace Mason of Odessa; brother, Larry Mason of Abilene; sister, Vesta Poe of Odessa; two grandchildren, Virginia Ottwell and David Sturdivant; two great-grandchildren, Morris and Dylan Ottwell, all of Lubbock; two nieces; and a nephew.
Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Darrell Adams
ODESSA — Darrell Adams, 50 years of age, passed away Nov. 1, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born April 11, 1950, in Stonewall, Okla., to George and Nadene Adams. He married Linda Whisenhunt Dec. 14, 1995, in Odessa. Mr. Adams attended Hobbs High School and Texas Tech University and was an MP in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, receiving a bronze medal. He loved to fish, loved the outdoors and had a green thumb when it came to plants.
Mr. Adams is survived by his adored wife, Linda Adams of Odessa; his precious children, parents and siblings; son, Jason Adams of Dallas; stepson, Tony Bessent of Anchorage, Alaska; daughters, Diane Adams of Dallas, Alisha Adams of Oklahoma City and Erica Adams of Oklahoma City; stepdaughter, Brandy Roquemore of Lubbock; his parents, George and Nadene Adams of Battlemountain, Nev.; brothers, Larry Williams of Hobbs, N.M., Ken Adams of Midland; sister, Georgia Lynn Chambliss of Battlemountain; very special grandson, Michael Roquemore of Lubbock; special friends, Wendell Dickerson of Odessa and Mike Burke of Lubbock; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, in-laws and all of his co-workers in the meat market at Albertson’s on West County Road.
A celebration of life service was held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Riley officiating. Interment services will be private.
The family suggest memorials to be made in Darrell’s name for Linda Adams to First State Bank.

Sue Carol Inmon
ODESSA — Sue Carol Inmon was born April 19, 1935, in Rotan to Jim F. Odom and Effie Edwards Odom. She passed away Nov. 2, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Mr. Burt Groves of Eisenhower Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Sue came to Odessa in 1951 from Amarillo. She married Ronald G. Inmon on April 20, 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of Eisenhower Church of Christ.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald G. Inmon of Odessa; her daughters, Dorinda Martin and Karla Ferguson, both of Odessa, and Rebecca lnmon of Grand Prairie; her brother, Jim F. Odom Jr. of Jasper; her sister, Dorothy Rossi of Mira Loma, Calif.; two grandchildren, Sharman Ruiz of Odessa and Jared Ferguson of Lubbock; and one great-grandchild, Arin Jade Ruiz of Lubbock.
Services are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Dorothy Rosina Attaway
ODESSA — Services for Dorothy Rosina Attaway, 86, of Odessa are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at Sunset Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Attaway died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born July 14, 1914, in Benton, Ark. She married her first husband, Otto C. Hall, in 1931. He preceded her in death in 1965. She married her second husband, Barney “Buck” Attaway in 1980. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was Baptist.
Survivors include her daughters, Sirley Davis of Odessa and Jo Ann Miller of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, Johnny Bradshaw of Texarkana, Ark.; grandchildren, Dennis Miller, Steven Miller, Theresa Ann Miller, Robert “Bo” Davis, Debra Jo Friedman, Bonnie Savoie and Connie Barrett; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Roy Wayne Britt
ODESSA — Roy Wayne Britt, 78, of Odessa died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jack Watkins officiating.
Roy was born Jan. 29, 1922, and moved to Odessa in 1951 from Lubbock. He married Ann on June 13, 1942, in Lubbock. He was in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He was also a musician and a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Britt of Odessa; son, Curtis Britt and wife Nancy of Odessa; daughters, Leta Jobe and husband Jerry of Nederland, Neta Hogue and husband H.V. of Tyler and Debra Rodriquez and husband Armando of Heletos; brother, Charles Britt of Granbury; sisters, Peggy Parrish and Joy Watkins, both of Lubbock, and Dorsey Britt of Amarillo; grandchildren, Dr. Shanna Britt, Tammy Palmer, Kim Carter, Mike Jobe, Denise DuBois, Sherrie Dee Haley, Anna Rodriquez and Armando Britt Rodriquez; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Brittany, Kyler and Kaden, Andrea and Megan and Erika and Cameron; great-great-grandchild, Alexis Renee Oldham; and special friend, Donnie Hall and wife Ronda of Odessa.
The family will receive family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Betty Toles Brown
ODESSA — Betty Toles Brown went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000. She was born May 10, 1933, in Inadale to Jessie and Thelma Brumley Toles. Her father preceded her in death.
Services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Troy of Second Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Betty and her family came to Odessa in 1937. She was in the Honor Society at Odessa High School and graduated in 1950. In 1955, she graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Betty married Jim Ray Brown on March 26, 1955, in Odessa. She was the owner of the Flower Garden in Odessa for 12 years and had worked there for three years prior to that. She served with distinction as a pastor’s wife for over 40 years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Jim Ray Brown of Odessa; her sons, Jim Rick Brown and wife Kathy of Odessa and Kyle Lee Brown and wife Tricia of Houston; a daughter, Carla Rae Ford and husband Ray of Friendswood; her mother, Thelma Toles of Odessa; a sister, Sharon Lee Gillham of Odessa; and four grandchildren, Nathan Ford, Avery Ford, Joshua Brown and Wesley Brown.
The family suggests memorials to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund.

Loland C. ‘Tad’ Hale
ODESSA — Loland C. “Tad” Hale, 73, of Cottondale, Texas, passed away Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, in Decatur, Texas. Mr. Hale was born Nov. 23, 1927, in Detroit, Mich., and moved to Odessa in 1937 and then to Cottondale in 1997.
Tad graduated from Odessa High School in 1944. He married Wanda Ruth Grimes in November 1950, and she preceded him in death in July 1959. He served in the Army during World War II as a Medical Corpsman at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, Raymond and Blanche Hale; and brothers, Thomas Wilson and Bob Hale.
He is survived by a son, Glenn Hale and his wife Becky of Paradise, Texas; three daughters, Beth Cox and her husband Mickey of Grand Junction, Colo., Lanette Davis and her husband Bill of Midland and Landra Priestly of San Antonio; a sister, Sharlene Wagner and husband R.G. of Odessa; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Griffin Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, Texas, 75219.

Margaret Mullins
ODESSA — Margaret Mullins, 77, of Odessa died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, in Fort Worth. She was born April 10, 1923, in Coatsville, Penn.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2000, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors, 4635 Oakwood Drive.
Mrs. Mullins was a graduate of Coatsville High School and Duke University. She married Dr. Don Mullins in Galveston. He preceded her in death in 1991.
Survivors include her sons, John Mullins and wife Ann of Houston and Don Mullins and wife Karen of Arlington; daughters, Katherine Perkins of Phoenix and Melinda Mullins of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Jennifer and Christopher Mullins of Houston and Nathan and Emma Perkins of Phoenix; and sister, Dorothy Diehe of Downing Town, Conn.
Funeral arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Sue Orozco
ODESSA — Graveside services for Sue Orozco, 73, of Odessa are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Sam Jordan officiating.
Mrs. Orozco died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at her residence. She was born Sept. 29, 1927, in Amity, Ark. She married Lucio “Rosco” Orozco in 1942 in Fannin County. He died May 4, 2000.
Mrs. Orozco was a longtime resident of Odessa and a member of the Odessa Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Hawkins of Arlington and Debbie Childers of Odessa; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

J.W. Padgett
ODESSA — J.W. Padgett, 66, of Odessa died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born July 15, 1934, in Colorado City to Jay and Odell Padgett. He was a graduate of Loraine High School. He married Jean Ann Hale on June 5, 1954, in Midland. He was employed by Texas Electric from 1954 until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Odessa.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3625 W. 11th St. in Odessa with Pete Klein officiating.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jean Ann Padgett of Odessa; daughter, Pam Recker and her husband, Pat Recker; two grandchildren, Kim Combs and Nikki Recker, all of Odessa; one brother, Tollie Padgett of El Paso; six sisters, Lillie Jo Boring of Dallas, Charla Iglehart of Fort Worth, Meredith Edwards, Honey Tarter and Marsha Drummond, all of Colorado City, and Sandra Barnfield of Lewisville.
