She was born in Dickens County and was a resident of Seminole. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

CRANE - Audrey Lou Ussery Grissom Peoples, 70, a retired First State Bank employee, died Tuesday, June 10, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

She was a lifetime resident of Fort Stockton and a Catholic.

He was born in Coke County and moved to Vernon in 1995 from Frederick, Okla. where he had lived for 30 years. He was a U.S. Air Force military policeman during World War II. He was a former patrolman and Sargent in Odessa and a captain in a Monahans.
SURVIVORS: Son, Damon Lewis Owen of Vernon; daughters, Nelda Nolen of Ada, Okla. and Ginger Hendrix of Lake Tehoma; brothers, Elmer Owen and Bill Owen, both of Odessa, and Dean Owen of Maryville, Wash.; sisters, Carrie Spears and Jean Welch, both of Odessa; and nine grandchildren.
