He was born in Lamesa and moved to Odessa in the late 1950s. He was Baptist.

BOWIE - Jack Weldon Hankins, 77, of Stanton, a field superintendent for Mobil Oil and part-time Martin County deputy sheriff, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at an Odessa hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Burgess-Fry-Owens-Brumley Funeral Home Chapel in Bowie. Burial will be at Bowie Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.

She was born in Graves County, Ky. She moved to Andrews in 1955 from Big Lake. She was Baptist.

ROTAN - Joe Don Lawrence, 65, of Rotan, a welder, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, at a Fisher County Hospital.

He was born in Bonham. He lived in Odessa for 47 years before moving to Brownwood. He was Methodist.
