McCAMEY - Isabel Hernandez Morales, 71, of McCamey, a homemaker, died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

ALPINE - Bill V. Olazaba, 71, of Alpine, a custodian with the Alpine Independent School District, died March 30, 2001, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital in Fort Stockton.

ODESSA - Margaret Virginia Trammell Zant, 96, of Odessa died Saturday, March 31, 2001 at a local nursing home.

Barbara Colborn
ODESSA - Barbara Colborn, 68, of Odessa passed away Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at her daughter’s home in Alvin.
She was born Sept. 9, 1932, in Brownwood. She married
Alfred Eugene Colborn on April 8, 1951, in Houston. He preceded her in death in August 1996. She attended College of the Southwest in Hobbs, N.M., and Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, N.M. She was a retired school teacher in Eunice, N.M. She was a member and head of multiple ministries at Odessa Christian Faith Center.
The Lord filled Barbara’s life, enabling her to bless others in all areas of their lives. Her favorite ministry was cooking and canning. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Laura Anderson; husband, Gene Colborn; and brother, Richard Anderson.
Survivors are her son, Rance Colborn and wife Kim of Eunice; daughters, Deaion Fisher and husband Rex of Alvin and Caren Colborn of Midland; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at Odessa Christian Faith Center, 8860 Andrews Hwy., with the Rev. Don Caywood officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Odessa Christian Faith Center Youth Building Project.

Ruth Kelley Lynn
WEST HELENA, Ark. - Ruth Lynn, age 88, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at Crestpark Nursing Home in Helena, Ark. She was born July 23, 1912, in Rosebud, Ark., to the late Robert and Eliza Kelley.
Mrs. Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Franklin Lynn Sr. and a son, Allen Thomas "Bunkie" Lynn.
She is survived by two sons, Harry F. Lynn Jr. of Beebe, Ark., and Robert Lynn and wife Donna of Richmond, Va.; three daughters, Velma Lynn Lucy and husband Ben of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Sue Lynn Sellers and husband L.P. of Helena and Edna Maxine Lynn Pedicord of Kermit; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Mrs. Bonnie Coco.
She was a homemaker, seamstress and a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Odessa.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena by Pastor Steve Burton. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena.
