ODESSA - Denise Louise Mapp, 26, of Odessa died Sunday, June 22, 1997, in Odessa.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barry Owens officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Snyder. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Joseph M. Mapp Sr. of Odessa; sons, Justin Daniel Gonzales, Antonio Gonzales and Joseph M. Mapp Jr., all of Odessa; daughters, Mikala Renee Mapp, Kami Carol Mapp and Krystal Lea Mapp, all of Odessa; sister, Lanez Boyd of Dallas; and grandmother, Laura Arnold of Dallas.

Johnny Williams

KERMIT - Johnny Williams, 91, a retired maintenance director, died Tuesday, June 24, 1997, at Winkler County Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. H.A. Bowens officiating. Burial will be at the Kermit cemetery.

He was born in Lovelady and was a resident of Kermit for 47 years. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Carstella Williams of Kermit; sisters, Beatrice Jackson of Waco and Annabell Sparks of Jacksboro.

John Wilsher

FANNIN - John Wilsher, 66, a retired Chevron Oil employee, died Tuesday, June, 24, 1997, in Fannin.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Colonial Funeral Home in Fannin.

He was born in Wynnewood, Okla., and was a resident of Fannin.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Helen Lewis Wilsher of Fannin; sons, John L. Wilsher of Carlsbad, N.M., Norman E. Wilsher of Idalou, Danny W. Wilsher of Channel View, Ronald E. Wilsher of Katy and Randall C. Wilsher of Odessa; daughters, Katrina Middleton of Houston, Cindy Worden of Saucier, Miss., and Teresa Howard of Fannin; sisters, Mary Hatch and Honey Jones, both of Plainview and Frankie White of Lubbock.

Richard Driver

ODESSA - Richard Lee Driver, 65, of Odessa died Wednesday, June 25, 1997, at Methodist Hospital in Houston.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Wanda Rudd

ODESSA - Wanda Lee Rudd, 68, of Odessa died Wednesday, June 25, 1997, at her residence.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Henry Belcher

BIG SPRING - Henry Joe Paul Belcher, 61, of Odessa, died Tuesday, June 24, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services were held Thursday at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Coolidge and he was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, James E. Belcher Jr. of Big Spring and Money Joe Belcher of Odessa; daughter, Gail Roberson of Odessa; brother, James E. Belcher Sr. of Snyder; and two grandchildren.

Joe Cox

ODESSA - Joe Bailey Cox, 67, of Odessa, died Tuesday, June 24, 1997, at his residence.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Leo Bell officiating. Burial will be at Cowboy cemetery near Placid. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Brady and he was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Lavern Cox of Odessa; sons, Joe Corwin Cox of Slaton and Carter Jay Cox of Odessa; daughters, Crystal Ann Smith and Connie Jo Poucher of Odessa; and nine grandchildren.

Vera Everhart

JAL, N.M. - Vera Everhart, 73, a homemaker, died Thursday, June 26, 1997, at her residence in Jal.

Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Jal cemetery with the Rev. Leigh Rocke officiating. Arrangements by Calvary Funeral Home.

She was born in Willis Point and she was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Dewie Wanda Everhart of Jal; sons, James William Everhart and Rickey Allen Everhart, both of Odessa; daughters, Linda Louise O'Rear and Tammie Y. Boehm, both of Jal; brother, B.L. Freeman of Brock; sisters, Estelle Bateman of Willpoint and Shirley Simpson of Baytown; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Charlie Markham

MONAHANS - Charlie Markham, 59, a supervisor at West Texas Children's Home, died Wednesday, June 25, 1997, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Spring.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harkey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Herb Bryant officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

He was born in Ninnekah, Okla., and he served in the U.S. Navy. He was a resident of Big Spring and a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, Rodney Markham of Falls Church, Va.; daughters, Paula Walker of Monahans and Elizabeth Kelly of Louisville, Miss.; brothers, Jerry Markham of Monahans and Marvin Markham of Stinnette; sisters, Clara Bryant of Lovington, N.M., and Len Markham of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.

Jay Merenstein

ODESSA - Jay Patsy Merenstein, 67, died Tuesday, June 24, 1997.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jason Carter officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Plainview and she was a Methodist.

SURVIVORS: Twin brother, the Rev. James P. Bridges of Midland.

Wanda Rudd

ODESSA - Wanda Lee Rudd, 68, a homemaker, died Wednesday, June 26, 1997, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Cruz and she was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Charles Rudd of Odessa; sons, Franklin Rudd of Odessa and Charles Rudd Jr. of San Angelo; daughters, Charlotte Bridges of Odessa, Sandra Rudd of Loraine and Debra Strickland of New Boston; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Richard Driver

ODESSA - Richard Lee Driver, 65, of Odessa, died Wednesday, June 25, 1997, at Methodist Hospital in Houston. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sherwood Church of Christ with Lynn Money officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. He was born in Mart and he lived in Odessa for 38 years. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. SURVIVORS: Wife, Jeanne Driver of Odessa; sons, Richard Driver of Longview and Jarrell Driver of Seminole; daughters, Dana Driver Manion of Houston and Jeanne Anne Driver Mauck of Katy; sister, Mary Virginia Greenwood of DeSoto; and nine grandchildren.

Bonnie Golliher

PECOS - Bonnie Marie Golliher, 86, a retired homemaker, died Wednesday, June 25, 1997, at Reeves County Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with J.E. McCormick officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home. She was born in Pinkeyville, Ill. and had lived in Pecos since 1946. She was a Baptist. SURVIVORS: Sons, Billy Golliher of Keller and Benny Golliher of El Paso; daughters, Betty Whitson of Garland, June Allen of Hubbard, Jackie Owens of Porter and Barbara Maddux of Pecos; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Jose Ramirez

MARFA - Jose Ramirez, 92, of Marfa, died Thursday, June 26, 1997, at Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Demetrio Ponce officiating. Burial will be at Old Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Shafter and he was a life-long resident of Marfa. SURVIVORS: Son, Eusebio 'Cheo' Ramirez of Marfa; stepson, Jose Fierro of Kansas City, Mo.; daughters, Maria 'Mary' Socorro Briseno of Marathon, Josefa Tameza of Commanche; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
