Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Iglesia Bautista Alpha Y Omega Church with the Rev. Glen Godsey officiating. Burial will be at Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
He was born in San Marcos and had lived in Odessa for seven years. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Margaretta Mata of Lubbock, Tommie Garcia and Mary Jane DeLeon, both of Odessa; 22 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Fayette County, Ill., and moved to Odessa two months ago from Effingham, Ill. She was a member of the Church of God.

ODESSA - Enrique "Ricky" R. Quezada, 13, of Odessa died Friday, November 24, 2000, at his residence.

He was born in Pecos and moved to Odessa in 1997 from Pecos.

Wayne Turner
COLEMAN - Wayne Turner, 78, of Coleman died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at his residence.

He was born in Temple, Okla., and had lived in Coleman since 1986. He was an Air Force veteran. He was Baptist.

Kenneth Wayne "Ken" Arends
ODESSA - Kenneth Wayne "Ken" Arends was born on March 26, 1952, in Big Spring to Clarence L. and Claudie Dennis Arends. He passed away Saturday, July 31, 1999, in Abilene.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Sunset Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Strempke of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Ken was raised in Odessa, attending school here and graduating from Permian High School in 1970. He married
Linda Shelton on Jan. 1, 1974, in Midland. They lived in Odessa 14 years before moving to Abilene in 1996. He enjoyed his children and was active as a T-Ball and Little League coach. He also enjoyed working with wood; his favorite was oak. He had produced beautiful pieces of furniture for his friends and family. Mr. Arends was employed as regional manager for Centennial Moisture Control for the last two years.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Kaye Arends of Abilene; his son and daughter, Sean and Kacie Arends of Abilene; his parents, Clarence and Claudie Arends of Odessa; his brother, Dennis Lee Arends of Houston; his sister, Janice Stephens of Odessa; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
