MIDLAND - Dr. Garland H. Lang Jr., 79, of Midland, medical director at the Midland County Health Department, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.

He was born in Somerville and moved to Midland in 1952. He was an Army veteran. He was Presbyterian.

He was born in Westbrook and was a resident of Kermit and Morgan Point before moving to Andrews. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
