He was born in Cuthand and moved to Odessa from Hooks in 1957. He was Baptist.

PRESIDIO - Maria Trinidad Cortez, 75, of Clovis, N.M., a homemaker, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, in Clovis.

She was born in Celeste and had been a longtime resident of Ector County. She was Baptist.
