ODESSA - Eddie Regenia Knowles, 64 years of age, passed away on April 12, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born on June 19, 1936, in Saltillo, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Chapel with Mary Stevers and Carol Clark officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Knowles; parents William and Eddie Karen Smith and two brothers.
She is survived by her son, Arlon Ray Moore of Forney, Texas; a daughter, Demetra Kay Hollis of Odessa; three brothers, Dick Smith of Saltillo, Texas, Tommy Smith of Hawks, Texas, and Clark Smith of Saltillo, Texas; four sisters, Ruth Watts of Burneyville, Okla., Mary Cox of Saltillo, Texas, Louise Rogers of Dallas, Texas, and Martha Massengill of Bossier, La.; nine grandchildren, Debora Shempert, Donna Terry, Wilda Hollis, Daisy Hollis, Riley Moore, Joe Dee Moore, Alejandro Lugo, Ricardo Lugo and Terry Lugo; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Jo Ann Ramirez
ODESSA - Jo Ann Ramirez, 33, died April 13, 2001, in Odessa. She was born May 5, 1967, in Alpine to Jesus Villareal and Rosa Villanueva.
She married
Febronio Ramirez on June 19, 1981. She was a homemaker.
Public visitation is 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday at Aposento Al To at University and Tripp in Odessa and from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Monday at Aposento Al To.
Funeral services are Monday at 2 p.m. at Latter Rain Ministeries at 17th and Jackson in Odessa with Pastor Craig DE Armond and Brother Manuel Ramirez officiating. Burial is at Ector County cemetery in Odessa. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, Febronio Ramirez of Odessa; a son, Jeremy Ramirez of Odessa; three daughters, Jessica Juanita Ramirez, Britney Junise Ramirez, and Jasmine Nicole Ramirez, all of Odessa; her father, Jesus I. Villareal of Odessa; mother Rosa Moya of Odessa; two brothers, Jesus Villareal Jr. of Odessa and Joe Hwerman Garcia of Crane; four sisters, Betty Jean Pando of Midland, and Estella Rocha, Velma Casillas and Tammy Sue Villareal, all of Odessa; grandparents Antonio and Manuela Villareal of Odessa and Pete Villanueva of Odessa; grandson Isayah Tey Ramirez of Odessa; and two granddaughters, Aaliyah Alazae Ramirez and Gabriella Alexandra Maldonado, both of Odessa.
Inez May Worster
ODESSA - Inez Mae Worster, 83, of Odessa passed away Friday, April 13, 2001, at a local hospital. Mrs. Worster was born April 29, 1917, in Carthage, Illinois. She married
Hugh Thomas Worster in 1935 in Kahoka, Missouri.
Mrs. Worster moved to Odessa in 1961 and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Robert Eugene Worster in 1959; two brothers, Ralph and Kenneth Inman; and two sisters, Millie Step and Susie Burton.
She is survived by three sons, William Earl Worster and Paul Dean Worster, both of Odessa, and Richard Lee Worster of Aubrey, Texas; two daughters, Ruth Ann Veach of Odessa and Dorothy Mae Cunningham of Irving; a brother, Paul Inman of Colchester, Illinois; two sisters, Mary Mayes of Odessa and Hazel Paul of Colchester, Illinois; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2001, in the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. in the Evergreen cemetery, Stanton, Texas under the direction of Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Victoria Jeanette Smith Daniels
ODESSA - Victoria Jeanette Smith Daniels, 41, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
She was born June 29, 1959, in El Paso. She attended high school at Lee and Midland high schools in Midland. Victoria was sales manager at the Holiday Inn in Odessa.
Victoria was preceded in death by her father, Major John William Fortner.
Survivors are her husband, Tony Daniels of Odessa; mother, Juavata Jane Fortner of Midland; sons, Johnwilliam Smith and Dylan Daniels; daughters, Jessica Jade Wooten, Brittany Zayne Smith and Cassandra Daniels, all of Odessa; sister, Kathryn McHugh of Abilene; and granddaughter, Genesis Sloane Wooten.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today, June 2, 2001, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 1416 W. Illinois, in Midland, with the Reverend Stockton Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park with a reception following at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.

Norman M. Jones
LUBBOCK - Services for Norman M. Jones, 85, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. today, June 2, 2001, at Southcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. today at Andrews County cemetery in Andrews with the Rev. Ted M. Short officiating under the direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.
He died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born Nov. 15, 1915, in Welder. As a youth, he lived in Post. He had been a resident of Lubbock since 1992, coming from Jal, N.M., where he had lived since 1970. He married
Hazel Marie Wyly in 1941 in Post. She died Jan. 28, 1979. He married
Nadine Allman Oct. 24, 1992, in Lubbock. He worked as a driller and pumper for Lowe Drilling Co. located in both Texas and New Mexico for 30 years. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Lynn Jones, in 1950.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Norma Fae Moore of Kermit; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Myrtle Peel of Post and Mae Hedrick of Lubbock; a brother, Hal Jones of Jal, N.M.; three stepsons, Leeroice Allman of Spring, Terry Allman of New Orleans, La., and Jerry Allman of Katy; six step grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Larry Don Sterling Sr.
ODESSA - Larry Don Sterling Sr., age 52, of Odessa died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Aug. 7, 1948, in Paris, Texas, to Gerald and Agnus Sterling.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, June 2, 2001, at Sunset Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Jess Little officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Sterling came to Odessa at age 12. He worked in the oilfields for many years as a rig mechanic and a pump mechanic for several companies in the Odessa area. He married
Elissa Osborn Nov. 28, 1975, in Odessa.
Mr. Sterling was a member of Sunset Heights Baptist Church. He loved fishing and was a great help to many and a friend to all. He was a wonderful father to his children as well as many other kids.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerald "Sonny" Sterling.
Survivors include his wife, Elissa Sterling of the home; two sons, Larry Sterling Jr. and his wife Marie of Odessa and Joshua Wayne Sterling of Weatherford; a daughter, Melanie Shanee Sterling Pulliam and her husband Eric of Odessa; four sisters, Jerry Duggan and husband Billy of Weatherford, Jo Ann Sledge and husband Curtis of Odessa, Shirley Sterling of White Settlement and Sandi Sterling of Odessa; three grandchildren, Lindsay and Melissa Kinnard of Odessa and Chester Cole Pulliam of Odessa; and several nieces and nephews.

William H. Good
LUBBOCK - William H. Good, 44, of Lubbock, formerly of Odessa, died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2001, at The Lubbock Group, 5603 Aberdeen Ave., north side of South Plains Mall, in Lubbock.
He was the analytical instrumentation specialist for the chemistry department at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Gene Todd-Good; son, Alexander Devin Good; mother and father, William D. and Doris Good; sister, Dee Dee Good and her son, Christopher Conrad; his brother and wife, Terry and Tina Good and their children, Johnathan, Phillip and Rebekah Good; brother and his wife, David and Glenda Good and David’s son Coby Boyles; and maternal grandmother, Ima Lee McBroom.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William D. Good, Betty Jean Wilmore and A.D. Willmore; and maternal grandfather, Hobert McBroom.
Bill Wilson
ODESSA - Bill Wilson, 87, died Tuesday, April 24, 2001. He was born to John and Laura Wilson Dec. 12, 1913, in Chicota. He married
Josie Robinson Nov. 2, 1935.
Bill worked 19 years at Potash Mines in Carlsbad, N.M., and moved to Port Gamble, Wash., in 1967. He worked for Pope and Talbot Sawmill for 16 years and retired in 1983. He and his wife moved to Alaska for two years. They then moved back to Bremertan, Wash., and stayed there until 1995. They then moved to Ada, Okla., until they came to Odessa in 1999.
He is survived by his wife, Josie Wilson of Odessa; sons, Carl Wilson and his wife Edna of Odessa, Wayne Wilson of Hoodsport, Wash., and Bobby Wilson and his wife Shirley of Ada, Okla.; daughter, Janet Marshall and her husband Greg of Belfair, Wash.; sister, Pearl Hyatt of Arther City; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two step granddaughters; five stepgreat-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
He was a longtime member of the Baptist Church. He especially loved to fish and go out in his boat. He and his wife loved to go camping. Bill was a devoted husband and father.
A memorial service has been set for 2 p.m. today, April 27, 2001, at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel.

Randy Helm
ODESSA - Randolph William Helm, age 48, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2001, at the Medical City Hospital in Dallas.
He was born Aug. 31, 1952, in Beeville. He came to Odessa in 1958. He graduated from Permian High School in 1970. He married
Nancy Aug. 11, 1981. Randy worked for Rexene for a short time before joining the Air Force in August 1971. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant in October 1977. After the service, he went back to work for Rexene and later owned a hotshot service. He was formerly the safety supervisor for Montgomery Trucking Co. He was a former member of the Ector County Sheriff’s Posse and a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2001, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clydell Chapman of Northside Baptist Church officiating. A military graveside will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Helm of Odessa; daughters, April Carman and husband Brent of Odessa and Angela Luxton and husband Jesse of Odessa; parents, Robert and Irene Helm of Midland; sister, Dusty Baker of Midland; three grandsons, Mackenzie and Tanner Carman and Tatum Luxton; four nephews; and a niece.
