He was born in Quanah and was a resident of Arlington. He was Baptist.

BROWNWOOD - Mable McCurdy, 88, a homemaker, died Monday, April 14, 1997, in Brownwood.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Alvis Fisher officiating. Burial will be at Moro cemetery in Brown County. Arrangements by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
She was born in Brown County and moved to Brownwood from Odessa. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

ANDREWS - James Nichols, 60, a salesman and pilot, died Sunday, April 13, 1997, in Temple.

He was born in Big Spring and was a resident of Andrews. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps.

He was born in Andrews and was a lifelong resident of Andrews. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Baptist.

He was born in San Antonio Del Bravo, Mexico, and lived in Pecos since 1977. He was Catholic.

He was born in Sweetwater and had lived in Andrews since 1929. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
