MIDLAND - Irene Sosa, 81, of Midland, a homemaker, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, at a Midland care center.

ODESSA - Hazel M. Tubb, 77, of Odessa, a retired optician for Sheets Clinic, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, at Deerings Nursing Home.

She was born in Bay City. She was Presbyterian.

Felix Villa
DENVER CITY - Felix Villa, 88, of Denver City, a retired oilfield roustabout, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at Yoakum County Hospital in Denver City.
Mass was celebrated at 3 p.m. Monday at St. Williams Catholic Church with the Rev. Andre Mendoza officiating. Burial followed at Denver City Memorial Park. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Cuero and moved to Denver City in 1952. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Tony Villa of Ecuador, Peter Villa and Johnny Villa, both of Seminole; brother, Roy Villa of Cuero; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Pedro Garcia Alcala, 74, of Odessa, a retired carpenter, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at his residence.

He was born in Jourdanton and moved to Odessa in 1951.

CENTERVILLE, Ohio - Walter Bernard Bice, 92, of Marietta, Ohio, a retired manager for Siebenthaler’s Nursery in Dayton, Ohio, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, in Marietta.

He was born in Del Rio and had been a resident of Marfa and Odessa. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.

NEDERLAND - Ralph Isaac, 53, of Nederland, owner of Arrow Business Services and pastor of Vine Bible Church, both in Nederland, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at his residence.

He was born in Odessa and had been a resident of Nederland for 19 years.
