BRADY - Roy Brown, 90, of Brady died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, in Brady.
Services are pending with McNett Funeral Home.

Eduvigen Dutchover
ODESSA - Eduvigen “Vigen” D. Dutchover, 78, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at her residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Marfa and was a lifelong resident of Odessa. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Son, Raul Dutchover of San Jose, Calif.; daughters, Rosalinda Garza and Janie Mendez, both of Odessa, and Maria Delcarmen Romero of Midland; brother, Frederico Dominguez of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Julia Gowin
ANDREWS - Julia Parrish Gowin, 85, of Andrews, a retired nurse, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Second Baptist Church with the Revs. Ivy Shelton, Dale Dozier and Carl Hopkins officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Bell County and moved to Andrews in 1939 from Kerens. She was Baptist.
SURIVIVORS: Husband, A.L. “LeRoy” Gowin of Andrews; daughter, Judy Pollock of Houston; sons, Bill Parrish of Norman, Okla., Robert Parrish of Enid, Okla., and Tate Gowin of Midland; sisters, Bertha Clements of Grand Saline and Margie Lee Kelly of Mabank; brother, Wendell Gray of Seven Points; and six grandchildren.

David Kelly
FORT STOCKTON - David Kelly, 58, of Fort Stockton, a sales representative, died Monday, May 21, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Nathan McBride officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Gorman. He was an Army veteran. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, David Wayne Kelly and Michael Shane Kelly, both of Guilderton, Australia; mother, Louise Kelly of Midland; and sisters, Phyllis Redmon and Pam Hayes Yarbrough, both of Midland.

Tull Louder
STANTON - Tull Ray Louder, 82, of Stanton, retired owner and operator of Stanton Electric Co., died Monday, May 21, 2001, at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Harp officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home.
He was born in Rockwall County and was a longtime resident of Stanton. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Helen Ruth Louder of Stanton; sons, Ray Louder of Odessa, Jim Louder and Gene Louder, both of Stanton; sisters, Margie Griffin of Stanton and Mildred Adams of Milwaukee, Ore.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.

Raul Molina Rivera
Raul Molina Rivera, 49, of Odessa died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Mr. Rivera was born Aug. 21, 1951, in El Paso. He was a retired sandblaster from Meister Industries.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Martin Rivera.
Survivors include: Wife, Tomasa Muro Rivera of Odessa; sons Raul M. Rivera, Jr. and Isaiah M. Rivera, both of Odessa; daughters, Jolene Rangel and husband Blas Rangel, Jr. of Odessa and Erica J. Rivera and grandson Zacheriah Seth Rangel of Odessa; parents, Jesus and Petra Rivera of Van Horn; brothers, Jesus Rivera, Jr. of Van Horn, Joe Rivera of Sweetwater, Danny Rivera of Big Spring, and Mike Rivera of Big Spring; sisters, Rosemary Talavera of Van Horn and Irma Rivera of Sweetwater.
Pallbearers will be his brothers, son-in-law and brother-in-law.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bible Centered Fellowship Church in Odessa, 3911 Brazos St. Pastor Jerry Carter will officiate. Mr. Rivera will be in state at Odessa Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. today and from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Bible Centered Fellowship Church. Burial will follow at Rosehill cemetery.
Services entrusted to Odessa Funeral Home.

Richmond E. Dublin
ODESSA - Richmond E. Dublin, 85, passed away Monday, March 5, 2001, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
He was born Feb. 6, 1916, in Jacksonville to W.L. and Nettie Dublin. Before serving in the Navy during World War II, he attended Annapolis Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. He married Billybob Newburn in Jacksonville, Fla., June 19, 1943.
Richmond and Billybob moved to Odessa in 1950 where he was involved in the petroleum business until his retirement. He served as a church deacon at First Presbyterian Church where he was a member, a Boy Scout master and a Meals on Wheels volunteer. He loved his wife, family and friends and always saw the positive in each person he knew.
Survivors include his wife, Billybob, of 58 years; sons, David and Richie and daughter-in-law, Phyllis; daughter, Vicki and son-in-law, Kae Patrick; and grandchildren, Holly, Amanda and Adam.
Family visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10 a.m. today, March 7, 2001, at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Jesse Cone officiating assisted by the Rev. Sherry Holloman and burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
Services entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Joan Lee Ingram
ODESSA - Joan Lee Ingram passed away quietly Monday evening, March 5, 2001, after a short illness.
She was born Dec. 15, 1931, in Atchison, Kansas. She married Wm. F. Ingram, May 24, 1951, in El Paso.
Since the 1950’s Joan has privately tutored individual students. After working in several small schools, and Fine Arts Day Care and Kindergarten, she opened the Montessori school of Odessa in the Fall of 1975. She has touched many young lives over the past 40 years.
Joan is survived by her husband Bill; three sons and family: Jules (Buddy) and Debbie Ingram of Houston, Steven Ingram and Clay Ingram, both of Odessa and Tonia Chance of Midland; four grandchildren: Julie, Cole, Clayton and Sterling; cousins, coming from Glynn Ellen, Ill. Hobie and Ruth Mary Porter.
She will be greatly missed by us all.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord, 21st and Grandview Ave. with the Revs. Preston Weatherly and James Otterness officiating.
The family request donations be made to: The American Cancer Association or Home Hospice of Odessa.
Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Betty Joyce Price
CARROLLTON - Betty Joyce Price, 63, of Carrollton passed away Monday, March 5, 2001.
She grew up on a farm in Kansas and had a degree from Kansas State in home economics and chemistry. She was a county extension agent in Kansas, and then raised her family before working for the City of Dallas WIC program as a nutritionist. Besides having a busy social life, Betty loved the theater, opera, traveling, playing cards, arranging flowers, patio gardening and loved animals, especially her dog Beethoven. Betty was strong in her faith and spent quality time in church activities ranging from wedding coordinator, choir member and small group leader. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who touched many lives and will be greatly missed but always remembered.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Myers and her husband Robert of Southlake, Texas; son, Randy Price and his wife Glenda of Princeton, Texas; four grandchildren; brother, John William Weseloh of Carmel, Ind.; sister, Martha Wiegert of Colorado Springs, Colo.; special friend, Ron Knoll; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Rhoton Funeral Home with her funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2001, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Carrollton and burial to follow at Hilltop cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Metrocrest Medical Foundation, 1 Medical Parkway, Suite 200, Farmers Branch, Texas, 75234.

Mary Keele
ODESSA - Mary Keele, 64, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1936, in Lufkin to Edwin and Sara Mae Presnall. Her parents preceded her in death.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Keele of Odessa; sons, Starrett Keele of Fort Worth and Robert Keele of Odessa; sisters, Sarah Ferguson and Shirlee Rogers, both of Odessa; three grandchildren, Jackson Bridges and Mason and Conner Keele; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were in the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Elbert D. Lewis
ODESSA - Elbert D. Lewis, 86 years of age, passed away Monday, April 2, 2001, at the Hospice House in Odessa.
He was born Nov. 11, 1914, in Sanger. He was a member of Sherwood Church of Christ.
Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Janie.
Mr. Lewis is survived by a son, Raymond D. Lewis and wife Diana of Levelland; daughters, Sherry D. Rose and husband Don of Midland, Paula J. Hopper of Gardendale and Carol B. Collins of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Sheleen Avery, Shannon Copeland, Sheila Liles, Dale Sullins, Dee Sullins, Daniel Nail and Joe Bob Hopper; great-grandchildren, Krisstopher Morton, Cade Copeland, Cameron Tanner, Lizzie Sullins and Kalan Copeland.
Mr. Lewis was the second man in U.S. military history at the age of 80 to receive a letter stating he must register for the draft or face the consequences if he didn’t. The Associated Press took the funny story and it went around the world as well as the U.S. Mr. Lewis received 143 phone calls in two days from around the globe and was featured in many front pages of newspapers. He was also awarded the Purple Heart for bravery shown aboard the USS Reno during World War II, but did not receive the medal until 38 years later.
Funeral services have been set for 3 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Sherwood Church of Christ with Lynn Money officiating.
Burial will follow with military honors and a Confederate Air Force Missing Man Formation Fly-By at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Lewis will be remembered by his children, family and friends as a good Christian man that fought for his country with honors and took care of his wife Janie in the last years of sickness. He is his children’s hero.
