Phillip Charles Langford
ODESSA Phillip Charles Langford, 61, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Oct. 22, 1939, to Charles and Ruth Zetty Langford in Tyler.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord.
He was raised in East Texas and graduated from high school in Fort Worth. He joined the United States Air Force after high school. Then he moved to Abilene and attended McMurray. He met Isabel Ramos in Alpine and they were married
Jan. 9, 1965. He was a salesman for insurance and Polk and Legal Directories. He achieved many awards for his salesmanship. No matter where he traveled, he always worshiped at the local church. He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel of Odessa; a sister, Gwen Allison of Lamesa; and mother-in-law, Elena Ramos of Odessa.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Air Conditioning Fund at Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord, 1603 N. Grandview Ave., Odessa, Texas 79761.
