She was born in Tahlequah, Okla., and was a longtime resident of San Angelo.

She was born in Kaw, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1937. She was Methodist.

FORT STOCKTON Guillermo R. Rubio, 73, of Pecos County, a retired rig operator, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, in Fort Stockton.

He was born in Presidio and was a resident of Pecos County since 1988. He was Catholic.

HENNESSEY, Okla. Etta Granny Potts, 93, of Hennessey, Okla., a retired licensed vocational nurse, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at Integris Bass Baptist Medical Center in Enid, Okla.

She was born in Venus and had been a longtime resident of Odessa before moving to Hennessey five years ago. She was Baptist.

Arlon LaVaun Cave
ODESSA Arlon LaVaun Cave, 74, of Odessa passed away Monday, July 9, 2001.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today, July 12, 2001, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Bugg officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Cave was born March 15, 1927, to Robert and Becky Cave in Yantis. He attended schools in Yantis and Quitman. He moved to Odessa in 1957. Mr. Cave was retired from Shell Oil Co. He was a transport driver. His hobbies were fishing and bowling. He married
Mary Myers on April 17, 1951, in Texarkana, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Becky Cave; sisters, Eula Morris, Mary Young and Kathleen Rogers; and brothers, Lewis Cave, Marshell Cave, Mack Cave and Aubrey Cave.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Cave of Odessa; sons, Robert Cave of Odessa and Larry Cave of Odessa; daughters, Sherry Little of Odessa and Kathryn Anderson of Odessa; sisters, Ima Jean Canaday of Quitman and Ruth Wallace of Midland; 10 grandchildren, Kenneth Little, Stephanie Medford, Mac Cave, Christopher Anderson, Jennifer Derrick, Shawna Blair, Joshua Cave, Larry Cave, Jack Cave and Kimberly Cave; and 11 great-grandchildren, Kenny Little, Charni Little, Tanner Smith, Brittany Derrick, J.J. Ehrenberg, Sydney Ehrenberg, Mac Cave, Hagen Cave, Shelby Blair, Timothy Medford and Amber Medford.

Angela Kay Curry
ODESSA Angela Kay Curry, 39, of Odessa passed away Monday, July 9, 2001, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 21, 1962, in Valdosta, Ga. She was a resident of Odessa for nine months and had been a resident of Austin. She was a licensed vocational nurse and a member of Victory Temple Baptist Church. She was an animal lover. She married
Kristian Shane Curry on April 4, 2000, in Austin. Her husband was born and raised in Odessa.
She is survived by her husband, Kristian Curry of Odessa; stepdaughter, McKenna Curry of Midland; and parents, Melvin and Iris Irwin of Gulf Shores, Ala.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2001, at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Jack Watkins officiating. Burial will be at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley, Ala.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.

James Bill Herren
ODESSA James Bill Herren, 71, of Odessa passed away Monday, July 9, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born June 24, 1930, in Corning, Ark. He married
Patsy Coplen on Feb. 2, 1962, in Kermit. He was an U.S. Air Force and Marines veteran. He worked on pipeline construction in Alaska, Nigeria, Kuwait and the Middle East. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Geoffrey and Opal Herren; son, Ronald Herren in 1993; and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Herren of Odessa; daughter, Tracy Herren of Odessa; four sisters, Wanda Gilmore of Searcy, Ark., Patsy Bryant of Lone Camp, Peggy Herren of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Linda Crump of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren, Taylor Vickery and Brandon Vickery of Odessa.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2001, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Weeks Dubose officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill cemetery.
