Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. David Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Gaines County Memorial cemetery North. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Sevierville, Tenn., and moved to Seminole in 1940 from Fox, Okla. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Dale Earl and Donald Earl, both of Seminole; daughters, Doris Davis and Vaudine Combest, both of Seminole; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

LEVELLAND — Nita Houston, 58, of Littlefield, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at her residence.

She was born in Brownfield and moved to Littlefield in 1995 from Big Spring. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

ARLINGTON — Helen F. Russell, 85, of Arlington, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at her residence.

She was born in Vancouver, Wash., and had been a longtime resident of Odessa.

ODESSA — Thomas Edward Shaver, 73, of Odessa, a worker in the automotive parts and paint industry, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at Hospice House of Odessa.
