ODESSA — Clara Irene Dennis, 92, of Fort Worth, a homemaker, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Manor Care in Fort Worth.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Merkle.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Demetra Larremore of Fort Worth; and three grandchildren.

Genaro Gonzalez
ODESSA — Genaro Bustamante Gonzalez, 68, of Odessa died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Danny Willis officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Eulalia Weaver of Odessa; son, Abel Gonzalez of Odessa; sisters, Antonia Dominguez and Tome Delgado, both of Austin; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Opal Hester
SEMINOLE — Opal Irene Hester, 88, of Seminole, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Community Chapel with the Rev. Sam Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County cemetery South. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Electra and was a longtime resident of Seminole. She was a member of a non-denomination church.
SURVIVORS: Sisters, Maye Martin of Odessa and Faye Copeland of Stanford; brothers, Delbert Beeman of Fort Worth and Jessie Ray Beeman of Azle; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Rosa King
ODESSA — Rosa E. King, 95, of Odessa, a former employee of Douglas Aircraft Factory, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at Memorial Rehab Hospital in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Indian Territory, Okla. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Madeleine Marshall of Odessa; sisters, Christine Rutledge and Faye Grounds, both of Ardmore, Okla.; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Homer Sparks
ODESSA — Homer Edward Sparks, 88, of Odessa, a former employee of Haliburton & Texaco, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Steve Trout officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Rosebud. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Nephew, Larry Sparks of Odessa.

ODESSA — Mary F. Hamilton, 85, of Odessa died Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.

ODESSA — Hector Manuel Medrano, 1, of Odessa died Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at Children’s Medical Hospital in Dallas.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

MIDLAND — Glen Andrew Veal, 49, of Midland died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at his residence.

Winnie Coskrey
GATESVILLE — Winnie V. Coskrey, 100, of Gatesville, a retired employee of the Masonic Home for Boys in Fort Worth, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, in Temple.
Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Bates officiating. Burial followed at Restland cemetery. Arrangements by Scott’s Funeral Home.
She was born in Ames. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Dean Bales of Odessa; sons, Bill Coskrey of Odessa and Arch Coskrey of Fort Worth; two sisters; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Annie Dameron
ANDREWS — Annie Rosa Dameron, 98, of Andrews, retired owner and operator of Banton’s Cash Grocery Store in Ironton, Ohio, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at her residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernard Gully officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Nelson County, Va., and moved to Andrews in 1973 from Altavista, Va. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Pauline McDonald of Andrews; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Barbara Ditto
KERMIT — Barbara Ditto, 67, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Jess Little and Gordon Oglesby officiating. Burial will be at the Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Dawson and was a resident of Kermit for 36 years. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Edwin Ditto of Kermit; sons, Stephen Ditto of Kermit and Tommy Whiteside of Lindale; daughters, Candace Reed of Kermit and Andrea Hilburn of Lindale; brothers, Don Chapman and Clydel Chapman, both of Odessa, Jan Chapman and Tommy Chapman, both of Lubbock, and Kenneth Chapman of Alvin; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Patricia Jo Johnston, 67, of Odessa, a business owner, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at her residence.

She was born in Kamay.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Mitchell Wagnon and Mark Wagnon, both of Odessa; mother, Ora Howes of Odessa; sisters, Judy Dennison of New Braunfels and Lois Hermanson of McQueeney; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

MIDLAND — E.B. Overley Sr., 84, of Odessa, a retired welder for Phillips Petroleum Co., died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, at a Midland care facility.

He was born in Madill, Okla. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, June Overley of Odessa; son, E.B. Overley Jr. of Chama, N.M.; daughters, Rebecca Ann Godwin and Nellie Bailey, both of Odessa; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

PRATT, Kan. — Lawrence Owen Saloga, 53, of Pratt, Kan., a construction mechanic for Emerson Construction Co. in Topeka, Kan., died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, in Topeka.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2001, at Larrison Mortuary with the Rev. Harold Wilcox officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn cemetery. Arrangements by Larrison Mortuary.
He was born in Larned, Kan., and was a resident of Pratt since 1963. He was an Army veteran.
