BIG SPRING — Linda Sue Vigar, 53, of Midland died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Myers and Smith Chapel in Big Spring with the Rev. James Higgins officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park. Arrangements by Myers and Smith Funeral Home in Big Spring.
She was born in Big Spring. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Larry W. Vigar Sr. of Midland; sons, Larry W. Vigar Jr. and Vincent P. Vigar both of Midland; daughter, Tamara Sue Vigar, of Odessa; sisters, Patricia Johnson of San Antonio and Juanice Godwin of Littleton, Colo.; and five grandchildren.

ODESSA — Cecil Paul Fisher Jr., 56, of Odessa died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

Alec Josiah Larremore
ODESSA - Alec Josiah Larremore, an infant, of Odessa died Aug. 30, 2001, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Caleb and Kendra Larremore of Odessa; grandparents, Jerry and Anita Loftin and Daniel and Sharon Larremore all of Odessa; great-grandparents, Sue Wolf and Dean Wallace both of Odessa, and Drucilla Larremore of San Angelo.

Felix Ramirez
ODESSA - Felix Ramirez, 86, of Odessa, a sanitation worker with the city of Odessa, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary will be said 7 p.m. Monday at Martinez Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fidelo Lugo officiating. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was a lifelong resident of Odessa. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Dominga Ramirez of Odessa; daughters, Prude Orozco and Narcisca Primera both of Odessa; sons, Ernest Ramirez, Alfonso Ramirez, Ezequiel Ramirez, Felix Ramirez Jr., and Frank Ramirez all of Odessa, Pedro Ramirez and Joe Ramirez both of San Antonio; sisters, Manuela Torres of Bakersfield, Calif., and Alcaria Mendez of Monahans; 35 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

PECOS - Ruben Salas Jr., 22, of Pecos, a correctional officer for Reeves County Detention Center, died Sept. 2, 2001, in Pecos.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Pecos. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Crowell cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was a lifelong resident of Pecos. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Father, Ruben Salas Sr. of Pecos; mother and stepfather, Ceci and Jesse Barrera of Crowell; wife, Monica Rivera Salas of Pecos; son, Devan Salas of Pecos; and brother, Evan Salas of Crowell.

Paul Samanicgo Jr.
AMARILLO - Paul Samanicgo Jr., 48, of Amarillo, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2001 in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Arrangements by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel.

Kathleen White
KERMIT - Kathleen White, 75, of Kermit, a retired secretary, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. G.A. Magee, Bailey Barkley and Trey Wyles officiating. Burial will follow at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Maudlow.
SURVIVORS: Husband, W.T. White of Kermit; mother, Lota Mitchell of Kermit; son, Travis White of Monahans; daughters, Judy Wyles of Round Rock, Carol Ann Hogue of Lovington, N.M., and Peggy Bennett of Irving; brother, Gordon Mitchell of San Antonio; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Sandra Kay Harris, 52, of Odessa died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at her residence.

Woodrow Eggleston
ODESSA - Woodrow W. Eggleston, 87, of Odessa, died Saturday, August 11, 2001 at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Rev. Griffin Jones officiating. Burial was at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. Arrangement by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Denton and moved to Odessa three years ago.
SURVIVORS: Son, Ramon Eggleston of Hemphill; daughter Patsy Fisher of Odessa; brother Carl Eggleston of Odessa; sisters Anna Bell Smith of Seminole and Ione Bradford of Lamesa; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Johnny Hawkins
LAMESA - Johnny Hawkins, 51, of Denver City, an operations technician, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lamesa cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Lamesa. He was a member of the Church of God.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Sharon Hawkins of Denver City; sons, Quincy Hawkins of Dallas and Key Shawn of Denver City; daughters, Schamaine Hawkins of Odessa, Shahala Hawkins, Manaka Rosemond and Destiny Rosemond, all of Denver City; mother, Essie Hawkins of Lamesa; brother, Euel Hawkins of Lamesa; and sister, Velma Mason of Lamesa.

He was born in Barstow and lived in Odessa for 33 years.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Alice Munoz of Odessa; sons, Joe Munoz, Arturo Munoz, Jr., Danny Munoz and Dr. Rick Munoz, all of Odessa; stepchildren, Mike Wright, Ruth Bullis, Joel Wright and Jimmy Jimenez, all of Odessa, Isaac Wright of Abilene, Abigail Mendoza of Amarillo, Raul Jimenez, Lee Jimenez and Anthony Jimenez, all of Georgetown; brother Alfonso Munoz of Pecos; sisters Ina Nunez and Oralia 'Lollie' Olivas, both of Odessa, Alicia Chavez of Pecos; eight grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was born in Farewell and came to Odessa in 1996.
SURVIVORS: Sister, Pat Suggs of Odessa; nephews, Ron Raburn and John Raburn.

Ft. DAVIS - Pat Lynch, 80, of Ft. Davis died Sunday, August 12, 2001 at Alpine Valley Care Nursing Home.

ALPINE — Douglas Michael Dorris, 73, of Alpine, a retired self-employed electrician, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001, at his residence.

He was born in Marathon. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
