R. L. Donohoe

ANDREWS - R. L. 'Donnie' Donohoe, 77, of Andrews, a former pumper for Exxon, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1997, at his residence.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Andrews with Stuart C. Moyle II officiating. Burial will be in the Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.

He was born in Burkburnett and moved to Andrews in 1956 from Talco. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Wanda Lou Donohoe of Andrews; sons, Alan G. Harper of Thrapston, England and Charles L. Donohoe of Eddy; daughters, Diane Moyle and LouAnn Carruth, both of Andrews; stepsons, Carl B. Scrivner of Sugar Land and Weldon K. Scrivner of Arlington; stepdaughters, Janet R. McGinn and Mary E. Scrivner, both of Tucson; sisters, Lorraine Blakley of Chowchilla, Calif. and Aldene Ballou of Elkridge, Md.; 19 grandchildren.

Willie Gary

ODESSA - Willie Belle Gary, 94, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jesse Little officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Durant, Okla.

SURVIVORS: Sons, B.H. Gary of Las Vegas, Nev., and Kenneth Gary of San Diego, Calif.; daughters, Beth Lovingood of Odessa and Billie Barber of Brenham; sister, Mary Hart of Colorado City; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Roberta Schmidt

CRANE - Roberta 'Bert' Schmidt, 82, of Odessa, a retired clerk for Sammons Cable, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1997, at the Crane County Care Center.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memory Gardens of Pampa with the Rev. Jerry Arrington officiating. Arrangements by Richard W. Box Funeral Home.

She was born in Midland. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Two nieces, Frances Adams of Odessa and Edith Ingram of Jefferson.

Grace Marshall

ODESSA - Grace Evelyn Marshall, 97, of Odessa died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Arrangements are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Eathel Jennings ODESSA - Eathel Mae Jennings, 79, of Odessa died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Dorothy Bragg

ARTESIA, N.M. - Dorothy Bragg, 70, a homemaker, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, in Hope, N.M.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. MST today at Terpening & Son Chapel with the Rev. Bill Fletcher officiating. Burial will be at Upper Hope cemetery. Arrangements by Terpening and Son Mortuary.

She was a lifetime resident of Hope, N.M. where she once served on the city council.

SURVIVORS: Son, Robert Bragg of Goldsmith; daughters, Wavis Jackson of Artesia, N.M., and Nancy Milliron of Fort Sumner, N.M.; brother, John H. 'Buddy' White of Carlsbad, N.M.; sisters, Joanne Benedict of Sister, Texas, and Barbara Wendt of Midpines, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Eathel Jennings

ODESSA - Eathel Jennings, 79, a retired insurance agent, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the small chapel at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Thorpe officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Paris, Texas, and was a resident of Odessa. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Son, William Don Jennings of Odessa; daughters, Sharon Holt of Austin and Jo Ann Rankin of Odessa; brothers, Louis Wade and Wesley Wade, both of Winters; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Juanita Ortega

MIDLAND - Juanita Ortega, 55, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, after a short illness.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Midland. Burial will be at Fairview cemetery. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Home.

She was born in La Mula, Mexico, and was a resident of Monahans. She was a Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Luis Ortega Sr. of Monahans; sons, Luis Ortega Jr. of Monahans and Oscar Ortega and Orlando Ortega, both of Odessa; daughter, Silvia Ricks of Odessa; brothers, Pepe Gonzalez of Big Lake, Pablo Gonzalez and Roberto Gonzalez, both of Midland, Gustavo Gonzalez of Odessa and Antonio Gonzalez of Presidio; sisters, Senorina Neyra of Saltillo, Mexico, Pilar Molinar of Odessa and Dominga Gonzalez and Ruth Carrasco, both of Midland; and three grandchildren.

Eunice Underwood

KERMIT - Eunice Fierro Underwood, 66, a homemaker, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at her residence.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Jessie Hutcheson officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.

She was born in Odessa and was a resident of Wink for 65 years. She was a member of the Assembly of God.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Vernon Lee Underwood, James Paul Underwood, Lloyd Darrell Underwood and Aaron Franklin Underwood, all of Kermit, Glenn Ray Underwood of Wink and Floyd Harold Underwood of Andrews; daughters, Donnell Dodson and Linda Minerva Wascom of Kermit, and Donna Sue Porter of Hobbs, N.M.; sisters, Opal Conelious of Eustace and Lena Sliger of Royalty; 23 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Sherry Whitley

ODESSA - Sherry Whitley, 53, of Odessa died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998, at her residence.

Funeral services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

James Ahrlett

ODESSA - James T. 'Jim' Ahrlett, 74, a truck driver, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He had been a resident of Odessa since 1956. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Stella Ahrlett of Odessa; sons, Jimmy Ahrlett and Tommy Ahrlett, both of Odessa, and James Rusty Teague of Boyd; daughters, LaWana Stark of Odessa, and Pam Browning of Snyder; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Carolyn Crabb

NUTLEY, N.J. - Carolyn G. Crabb, 95, died Nov. 19, 1997, at Avalon Place in Odessa.

Services were held Nov. 24, 1997, at Franklin Reformed Church in Nutley, N.J., with Jill Fenske officiating. Burial was at Hillside cemetery in Rutherford, N.J. Arrangements were by Brown Funeral Home in Nutley, N.J., and Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home in Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Frances Louise Crabb of New York, Doris Helen McAfee of Odessa, Helen Joyce Lyles of Houston and Lelia Belle Crabb of Bloomfield, N.J.

Donald Fulton II

BIG SPRING - Donald Gene Fulton II, 38, field coordinator at GMP Gas Services, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, in a Big Spring hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazrene in Big Spring with the Rev. Roger Huff officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

He was a resident of Midland before moving to Stanton in 1991. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Karen Fulton of Stanton; sons, Garrett Fulton and Tyler Fulton, both of Stanton; parents, Don and Treva Fulton of Clarendon; sisters, Linda Rowland of Clarendon, Lesa Greer of McLean and Lana Jackson of Amarillo; grandparents, Euil and Lois Fulton of McLean and Lois Still of Clarendon; and 11 nieces and nephews.
