He was born in Sierra Mojada, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, Jacinto Carrillo and Sabas Carrillo, both of Alpine, and Calistro Carrillo of Odessa; sister, Jesusita Marques of El Paso; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

ABILENE Bessie L. Ellis, 84, of Clyde, a homemaker, died Saturday, July 14, 2001, at an Abilene hospital.

She was born in Dewey, Okla., and had been a resident of Goldsmith before moving to Clyde in 1988. She was Methodist.

She was born in Lawrence County, Ky. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

KERMIT Thomas Ray Hunter, 50, of Kermit died Sunday, July 15, 2001, in Odessa.

He was born in Kermit and was a lifelong resident.

FORT STOCKTON James Robert Jepson, 20, of Fort Stockton, a student trainee for correctional officer and jailer with the Reeves County Federal Detention Center in Pecos, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.

He was born in Canadian, Texas. He was a resident of Odessa for 20 years before moving to Fredricksburg.
