MASON — Odalis Cervantes Hernandez, an infant, was stillborn Wednesday, July 25, 2001, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crosby cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
SURVIVORS: Father, Robert Hernandez of Odessa; mother, Valentina Cervantes of Odessa; and grandmothers, Rosa Hernandez and Maria Cervantes, both of Odessa.

Ruth McDaniel
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Ruth Saloga McDaniel, 92, of Garden City, Kan., a retired cook, died Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Harold Wilcox officiating. Arrangements by Price and Sons Funeral Home.
She was born in Middleton, Ohio, and was a resident of Garden City since 1993. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Gilbert Saloga of Hobbs, N.M., Darrell Saloga of Payson, Ariz., Eugene Saloga of Garden City, Marvin Saloga of Roosevelt, Utah, LeLand Saloga of Odessa and Lawrence Saloga of Pratt, Kan.; 26 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Raymond Walker
WINK — Raymond M. Walker, 71, of Wink, a retired truck driver, died Sunday, July 22, 2001, at his residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lena Laughlin Auditorium with the Revs. Gary Redwine, H.A. Bowens and Jeppie S. Wilson Jr. officiating. Burial will be at the Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Brady and was a resident of Wink for 67 years. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Ida Mae Walker of Wink; son, Johnny Walker of Wink; daughter, Claudia Alexander of Monahans; sisters, Faye Jacob of Oakland, Calif., and Georgia Perteet of Santa Anna, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Wendell Woods Jr.
ODESSA — Wendell Woods Jr., 49, of Odessa, a self-employed laborer, died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Martinez Funeral Home with Ivan Logan officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa and was a lifelong resident.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jeremy Woods of Albuquerque, N.M.; father, Wendell Woods Sr. of Odessa; brother, Alvin Logan of Houston; and sisters, Carolyn J. Forge of Denver, Janice Anderson and Donna Warrior, both of Odessa.

ODESSA — Donna South Jones, 51, of Odessa died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at her residence.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

W.H. Cheek
STAMFORD - W.H. Cheek, 74, of Stamford, a retired truck driver for Simpson Grain and Iron Co. in Stamford, died Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at his residence.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. James Brigham officiating. Burial will be at New Hope cemetery. Arrangements by Tankersley Funeral Home.
He was born in Vera. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Vivian Cheek of Stamford; daughters, Dorothy Stutts of Odessa and Janice Bridges of Midland; sisters, Billie Vaughn, Vernia Mae Anders and Juanita Green, all of Stamford; brothers, Gerald Cheek and Burl Cheek, both of Stamford; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Manuel Fierro
KERMIT - Manuel 'Sonny' Fierro, 55, of Kermit, a self-employed construction contractor, died Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at Winkler County Memorial Hospital in Kermit.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Waiwood officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at the Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Marathon and was a resident of Kermit for three years. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Della Fierro of Kermit; daughters, Terri Pando and Leticia Alvarado, both of Kermit; brothers, Mike Fierro and Gabriel Fierro, both of Odessa; sisters, Lupe Fierro of Odessa, Maria Dominguez of Fort Stockton, Margaret Berzoza of Kermit and Connie Astras of Irving; and seven grandchildren.

Odelia Miller
WHITTIER, Calif. - Odelia Murphy Miller, 91, of La Puente, Calif., a retired schoolteacher, died Saturday, June 23, 2001, at Santa Teresita Hospital in Duarte, Calif.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Rose Hill Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Flanders officiating. Burial will follow at Cherry Blossom Lawn. Arrangements by Rose Hill Memorial Park.
She was born in Izoro Community. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, John Edward Miller of La Puente; daughters, Erma Lee Stites of Moorpark, Calif., Wilhelmina Potter of Westminster, Calif., and Virginia Marie Miller of Glendale, Calif.; sons, John Edward Miller Jr. of Indian Harbor Beach, Fla., and Lyndon Earl Miller of Martinez, Ga.; sister, Ruby E. He was born in Cincinnati.

She was born in New Rochelle, N.Y.
