ODESSA — David P. Beal, 48, of Odessa, a freelance commercial artist, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, at Hospice House.
Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Helen Beal of Odessa; brother, Sam Beal of Mountain View, Calif. and Steven Beal of El Paso.

Consuelo Lozano
ODESSA — Consuelo “Connie” Oretgo Lozano, 78, of Odessa, a jail and prison ministry worker, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Toyah.
SURVIVORS: Son, Joe Lozano of Odessa; daughters, Naomi Brown of Rosenberg, Patsy Galindo, Margaret Michaelis and Sylvia Lara, all of Odessa; sisters, Hope Nunez of Pecos, Naomi Naverette of El Paso, Lydia Campbell of Englewood, Calif., Margie Sutter of Fresno, Calif. and Virginia Armendariz of Midland; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON - Elizabeth Brown Blaydes, 81, of Fort Stockton, a retired secretary for the railroad commission, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, in Andrews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Nathan McBride officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton and was a lifelong resident of Pecos County. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Shelby H. Blaydes Jr. of Midland, Roderick D. Blaydes of Garland and Brown K. Blaydes of Odessa; daughter, Betsy Blaydes of Wimberley; sister, Nell Sudduth of Sanderson; and 10 grandchildren.

Anna Cypert
GRAHAM - Anna Belle Cypert, 81, of Graham, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, in Graham.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Johnson Memorial cemetery in Munday. Arrangements by Morrison Funeral Home.
She was born in Knox City and had been a resident of Jal, N.M., for 35 years before moving to Graham in 1990.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Janice Ann Glazner of Graham and Gladys LaNell Shoemake of Monahans; sons, Thomas Wayne Cypert of Lubbock and Ronald Joe Cypert of Midland; sisters, Edna LeBeouf of Vidor, Thelma Wilson of Abilene and Lois Cypert of Knox City; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Martin Fierro, 93, of Odessa, a retired pump installer for G&M Pump Co., died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Avalon Place Nursing Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Big Spring. He was Jehovah’s Witness.
SURVIVOR: Granddaughter, Velma Trevino Carbahal of Odessa.

Dulon Franklin
SEAGRAVES - Dulon Charles Franklin, 79, of Seminole, a retired oilfield driller, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Canterbury Villa in Denver City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Seagraves with the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating. Burial will follow at the Gaines County Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Valient, Okla., and moved to Seminole in 1947 from Blossom. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Rebecca Shook of Seagraves; sisters, Irene Walker of De Port and Opel Fletcher of The Colony; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Cecil Norris
ASPERMONT - Cecil Allen Norris, 89, of Swenson, a retired businessman, rancher and farmer, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at an Aspermont hospital.
Services were at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with Bob Phillips and Kenneth Norris officiating. Burial was at the Aspermont cemetery. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home.
He was born in Aspermont. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Nancy Norris of Swenson; son, Tracy Norris of Midland; daughter, Nan Campbell of Odessa; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON - Donna Jean Eggleston Ortiz, 68, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, in Fort Stockton.

She was born in Urbana, Ohio, and was a resident of Fort Stockton since 1970. She was Baptist.
