TOW Alton K. Smith, 84, of Tow, a retired rancher, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, in Austin.

He was born in Mason County and had been a resident of Clayton, N.M., before moving to Tow in 1984. He was Baptist.

GRAHAM John C. Stevens, 85, of Graham, a retired employee of Texaco Inc., died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, in Graham.

He was born in Prentice, Ky., and had been a resident of Pecos before moving to Graham in 1978. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
