Reba Viola Lowe
ODESSA - Reba Viola Lowe, 70, of Odessa passed away Sunday, March 24, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born Aug. 26, 1931, in Tatetown, Ark., to Andrew and Lillie Hayden.
Services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at Faith Tabernacle with the Rev. Scott Sprouse officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland.
Reba married
E.E. Owens in 1947. They moved to Odessa in 1973 from Kermit. She was the owner of Owens Country Kitchen for six years before retiring in 1992. She married
Willis Lowe in 1992. She loved to read her Bible, art, crafts, music, playing guitar and singing. She also loved to cook.
Her husband E.E. Owens and husband Willis Lowe, both parents and sister Audry McGinnis preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Owens of Kermit and Rick Owens of Midland; sisters, Ruby Hurst of Kermit and Carolyn Johnston of Indiana; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials to Teen Challenge of Permian Basin.

Hazel Mock
ODESSA - Hazel Ruth Mock, 80, of Odessa, a beautician, died Friday, March 22, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. James Bishop officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Abernathy. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sisters, Joyce Masters and Fern Thomas, both of Odessa, Sybil Brown of San Angelo and Mildred Shipman of Granite Shoals.
Doyle Campbell
BIG SPRING - Doyle Campbell, 76, of Big Spring, an electrician, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at the V.A. Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M.
Services were 1 p.m. Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Chaplain Carroll Kohl officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Olive Memorial Park. Arrangements by Myers & Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
He was born in Big Spring. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Church of God.

Molly Massey
STANTON - Molly Swift Massey, 75, of Odessa died Friday, March 22, 2002, at her residence.

John Tylka
ODESSA - John Tylka went to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 21, 2002. He was 80 years and 51 weeks old.
During World War II, Dad was in the Navy and sang with many big name artists. Dad was a singing bartender in Chicago for five years. He won first place in an amateur show and second place in 1946 in the Chicago Tribune Festival. Dad moved to Odessa in 1951 from Chicago and became the manager of the American Legion from 1953 until 1960. He then became a janitorial salesman, which he was until he retired in 1997.
Dad was most remembered for his singing “My Buddy” at the Ector County cemetery on Memorial Day. He sang this song for 48 years. The last couple of years Dad sang for the V.F.W. at many service men and women’s military services.
Our family feels extremely blessed for the many friends and family who have shared our love with our dad, Papa, and Big Papa. We know you are with Mom, “Bobo” and Carol (Aunt Carol-o) now. We will miss you forever. We love you and will see you again.
He is survived by his son, Harold Tylka of Odessa; daughter, Dianne Vaught and husband Mark of Odessa; sisters, Lill Juraska of Milwaukee, Wis., And Pauline Griffith of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Stephanie Thisted and husband, Bruce, Chris Vaught, Kimi Vaught, Jeffrey Vaught and Sasha Tylka, all of Odessa; great-grandchildren, Tiffany and Brittney Thisted and Sasha has one on the way, all of Odessa.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2002 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Noble Lee
ODESSA - Noble Lee, 78, passed away Friday, March 22, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Feb. 13, 1924, in Cooper, Texas.
Mr. Lee married
Sybil Perry on March 7, 1948, in Germany, and moved to Odessa from Monterey, Calif., in 1969. He was enlisted in the U.S. Army and Air Force, and was a U.S. Postal Carrier for ten years, and enjoyed reading. He was a member of Belmont Baptist Church.
Family visitation is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Sybil Lee; sons, Gary Lee of Terrell; Robert E. Lee of Dennison, and Terry A. Lee of Florida; a daughter, Suzan B. Perry of New York City, N.Y.; a sister, Maizie Southard of Bonham; thirteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be donated to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Association.

ODESSA - Lexie Jean and Addy Ann Rawls, twin daughters of David and Kara Rawls, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2002, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include parents, David and Kara Rawls of Odessa; grandparents, Benny & Pamela Flud of Odessa; and Byron and Pam Patterson of Gardendale; great-grandparents, O. B. & Cassi Stibham, George and JoElla Flud, Pat & Netta Patterson, Charles Walker, and David and Edna Rawls; aunts, Amber Patterson of Gardendale; and KaElla Flud of Odessa; and uncle, Benny Flud, Jr. of Odessa.

Grace E. McLendon
ODESSA - Grace E. McLendon, 84, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2002, to be with her heavenly father. She was born in Clarksville, Texas, on May 16, 1917. She was a retired nursery worker from Temple Baptist and a homemaker who lived most of her life in Odessa. She will be greatly missed by family and many friends.
Children were the love of her life. Grace was a wonderful mother and grandmother known as “Granny Grace” and loved and adored by all.
She is survived by six children, Jack McLendon, Mary Alice Emery, Elizabeth Hagedorn, Danny McLendon, Stevie Charles McLendon, Shelia Gay McLendon, eleven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Lynn Cagle of Monahans and Inez Walthall of Magnolia, Ark.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Charles McLendon, four brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at 3 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church with Dr. Griffin Jones officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Wayne Everett Miller
ODESSA - Wayne Everett Miller, 53, of Odessa went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2002. He was born May 27, 1948, in Osceola, Iowa, to Everett and Lois Miller. He married
Sharon Baugh of Odessa on March 18, 1983. He served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1978. He worked for Barnett Sand and Gravel.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Amber Miller of Odessa, Tamatha Miller of Bruchsal, Germany, and Gina Miller of Gladstone, Ore.; a son, Michael Miller of Odessa; two granddaughters; three sisters, Maryann Marvin and Connie Penick of Osceola, Iowa, and Suzi Adams of Oakland, Iowa; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and brother and sister-in-law, Sonny and Teresa Baugh of Odessa.
Wayne was a kind and loving man and will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2002, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Orbie Howard Redman
ODESSA - Orbie Howard Redman, age 86, of Odessa died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, in Odessa. He was born April 26, 1915, in Prague, Okla., to Omer and Della Redman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2002, in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Melvin Warren of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
He married
Dorothy Vessels on Aug. 18, 1937, in Odessa. Mr. Redman served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Germany where he was wounded and became disabled. He was an independent wholesale and retail gasoline operator. He was an art teacher and artist in Odessa where they raised their family. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was an ordained Baptist deacon and a Sunday school teacher. He was a loving and caring husband and father. He was an avid traveler and fisherman.
Mr. Redman was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Debra Kay Redman; and a brother, Orvilee Redman.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Redman of Odessa; sons, Gerald D. Redman of Central, Bobby H. Redman of Midland and Jerry Don Redman of Scottsdale, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
