He was born in Trickham. He was Pentecostal.

James Stephen Corcoran
ODESSA - James Stephen Corcoran, age 63, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. R.T. McNeil officiating.
James was born Sept. 1, 1938, in Big Spring to Stephen and Thelma Corcoran. He had joined the Army and served in the DMZ in Korea. He married
Lunda Colvin on Sept. 23, 1966, in Big Spring. They had lived in San Angelo from 1974 until 1984 when they moved to Odessa. He was a supervisor with Amoco and retired after 30 years of service in March 1995.
James enjoyed traveling, gardening and reading. He was a devoted husband, son-in-law and friend.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Lunda Corcoran of Odessa; his mother-in-law, Virginia Colvin of Odessa; his brother-in-law, Butch Colvin and wife Molly of Odessa; his sister, June DeVoy and her husband B.J. of Mesquite; his nephews, James and Stephen DeVoy and Cody Colvin; and his niece, Rachel Stone.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
Services are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Grace A. King
ODESSA - Grace A. King, 77, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born Aug. 19, 1924, in Rochester.
She married
Marion D. King Nov. 28, 1942. She was a homemaker.
Grace’s life was very much involved in her church work. She was a longtime member of the Eisenhower Church of Christ in Odessa and had served on various ladies committees as well as always opening her home with kind hospitality. Of her many activities, among her favorites was teaching children’s Bible classes. She was a kind, gracious Christian lady who was a spiritual anchor to her family as well as her fellow church members. She was very proud of her family and serves as a role model of Christian “Grace” and faithfulness.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Doc, who has served her with love and kindness, especially through these last years of illness. Her children are Tommy King and wife Pat of Tyler and Sherilyn Money and husband Lynn of Odessa. She is also survived by sister, Charlene Funk of Abilene; five grandchildren, Cheryl Cash and her husband Jeff of Fort Portal, Uganda, Cherise Procter and husband Wade of Odessa, Carlon King and his bride-to-be Raven of Fort Worth, Jeff King of Abilene and Tanner King of Tyler; foster granddaughter, Linda Redaker of Lubbock; three great-grandchildren, Kinley and Alex Cash of Fort Portal, Uganda, and Bryson Procter of Odessa; foster great-grandchildren, Dustin and Allison Baker of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2002, at Eisenhower Church of Christ with Jeff Cash and Burt Groves officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be donated in her honor to Odessa Christian School.
