PECOS - Ramon O. Nunez, 71, of Barstow, retired assistant manager for Safeway Store, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Ben Flores officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Saragosa and was a lifelong resident of Barstow. He was a Marines veteran of the Korean War. He was Catholic.
