MENARD - Ralph Daniel Kidd Jr., 60, of Odessa, a construction welder, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, in Odessa.

She was born Feb. 28, 1918, in Beville.

Marlene Pollitt
ODESSA - Saturday, August 28, 1999, our beloved sister, aunt, friend, and loving wife went to be with the Lord.
Marlene was born June 9, 1951, in Ontonagon, Mich., and moved to Odessa in 1980. She fell in love and married
a wonderful man, Carl Pollitt, December 31, 1980.
To many of us Aunt Marlene was like a second mother to our children.
She loved and was loved by many children. She never knew the meaning of the word no, she would go out of her way to help anyone that asked her for help. If ever you needed anything, she was the one to call.
She worked at K Mart for eight years and had many friends who will miss her dearly. Her hobbies included reading books, walking, watching movies, playing cards and playing with "her" kids.
Marlene was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and was a member of the House of Yahweh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Minerva Boggs and Kenneth Cootware.
She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Carl Pollitt; sisters, Jean Burns and her husband Jack of Rhinelander, Wis.; Judy Ciccone of San Manuel, Ariz.; Elois Stanley and her husband George of Rhinelander, Wis.; Sandy Hecht and husband Richard of Sioux City, Iowa; and brother, Kenneth Cootware of Waco. She had numerous nieces and nephews who all loved her and miss her.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Bishop officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill cemetery.

Alta Faye Stanford
MONAHANS - Alta Faye Stanford, 75, of Monahans, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Revs. Don Fankhauser and David Lively officiating.
She was born Oct. 3, 1925, in Monahans. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a member of Rebecca Lodge and Women’s Auxiliary at Medical Center Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987, and her daughter Karen Brown in 1983.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Mallow, Tommy Mallow and Fred Stanford, all of Odessa, Bill Stanford of Marina, Calif., and Bobby Stanford of Dallas; daughters, Frances Ford of Odessa and June Neves of Monahans; brother, Jack Beasley of Midland; sisters, Wilma Nell Ford of Midland and Evelyn Peden of Tulsa, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Edna Ruth Mayes Flanagan
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Edna Ruth Mayes Flanagan, widow of the late Joseph Loren Flanagan who preceded her in death in 1968, passed away Sunday, August 29, 1999, in Odessa.
She was born January 12, 1904, near Goshen, Ark.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Hembree Oil Company and an active member of the Northwest Arkansas Archaeo-logical Society of which she held the position of treasurer.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville, Ark. Interment will be at Son’s Chapel in Fayetteville, Ark. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She attended the University of Arkansas and was a school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Robert J. Mayes; and two brothers, Walter Mayes and Randall Mayes.
She is survived by a son, Bill Flanagan and his wife, Barbara Jaquish, of Fayetteville, Ark; two daughters, Joan Flynn of Odessa and Joyce and Bill Emery of Tulsa, Okla; grandchildren, Michelle Hungerford, Tom Flynn, Kathleen Schoon, Christi Flynn, Jody Whisett, Jane Sneeden and Lisa Ziegler; great-grandchildren, Eric Paul Hungerford, Katie Hungerford, Jackie Whisett, Thomas Whisett, Jack Robin, Joanna Ruth Sneeden IV, Beverly Ziegler, Paul Joseph Ziegler and Alana Joanna Ziegler.

Foster Lyn Struck
ODESSA - Foster Lyn Struck, 35, was born on June 7, 1964, in Haskell to Lyndal and Sue Struck. He passed away on Sunday, Aug. 28, 1999, in Lubbock.
Services were held at 4 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Foster Lyn Struck had worked as a welder for most of his life. He had worked for Decorative Iron for nearly 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Becky Bryson.
Foster is survived by his sons, Sheldon Thomas Struck and Carlton Lyn Struck, both of Odessa; his parents, Lyndal Ray Struck and Sharon Sue Struck of Odessa; his sister, Twala Gay Struck and husband, Albert, of Odessa; two nieces, Ashley and Crystal Struck of Odessa; and his nephew, John Struck, also of Odessa.
The family requests memorials be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the Scottish Rite Hospital of Dallas.
